10-Year-Old Kentucky Boy Missing, Mom Previously Involved in a Child Endangerment Case – Crime Online

Police in Kentucky are searching for 10-year-old Jackson boy, who hasn’t been seen since Tuesday.

Jadyen Spicer vanished from his Breathitt County home in the area of Panbowl Branch Road, sometime between Tuesday evening and early Wednesday morning.

Spicer went to bed Tuesday night around 9 p.m. in his Sonic the Hedgehog pajamas and has not been seen since, according to what his mother told police, FOX 56 reports.

Jadyen is described as having blonde hair and blue eyes. He has a slim build and stands approximately 5 feet. 1 inch tall, according to Lex18.

Kentucky State Police Trooper Gayheart posted that “all areas of priority” have been searched and that organized search efforts “continue to exhaust all resources at their disposal.”

“In this situation, we want to keep hope alive, but we are racing against the clock,” said Trooper Gayheart, “The more time he spends outside in the elements, unfortunately, statistically speaking, the chances of finding him safely diminish.”

Om Thursday, Jadyen’s mother, Felicia Spicer, formerly Felicia Gross, provided a handwritten plea to WYMT, concerning her missing son:

“We love jayden and we wont him safe at home please if anybody see my son jayden spicer please report it to the jackson police department thank you we love him very much please do the right thing call the police please pray for use and my son jayden thank you [sic]”

Channel 2 Now reported that Felicia Spicer has a past involvement in a child endangerment case. Since this information was released, Spicer has asked for her privacy.

As the search continues, with multiple organizations and volunteers, Breathitt County Emergency Management posted that anyone with any information on Jayden’s whereabouts should contact Kentucky State Police at Post 13 in Hazard at 606-435-6069.
