A 14-year-old South Carolina teen is facing charges after police say she shot and killed a 40-year-old man at a Greenville apartment complex.
According to NBC 4, police said the incident unfolded at around 2 a.m. Saturday, at the Boulder Creek Apartments, off Furman Hall Road.
The teen reportedly told responding officers that he shot killed a man, identified as a 40-year-old acquaintance of his mother.
Along with murder, the suspect has also charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He’s currently behind bars at the Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia.
