
OKALHOMA CITY (TCN) — A man is in custody facing a murder charge after allegedly fatally stabbing his older brother during an argument over a video game.
KOKH reports that Oklahoma City police were called to the scene of a domestic stabbing on Jan. 19. A 19-year-old had dialed 911 and allegedly told dispatchers he had killed his brother after becoming enraged with him while playing a video game together. Arriving officers found William Spencer and his older brother, 25-year-old Nicholas Spencer. Nicholas Spencer reportedly had serious stab wounds, according to the outlet. He was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead.
Master Sgt. Gary Knight called it a tragic story during a news conference, KOKH reports. He said, “Two brothers who were playing video games. One became enraged over the game, got mad at the other and simply stabbed him to death.”
Law & Crime reports William Spencer allegedly admitted to his role in the killing.
Spencer was taken into custody, charged with first-degree murder, and remains in custody on $10 million bond, KOKH reports.
