Police in Texas are searching for a 2-year-old boy who has not been seen since last year.
According to the Hays County Sheriff’s Office, Sherlock Vasile Jones was last seen in Buda in August 2025. FOX 7 reports that there is an active warrant out his noncustodial mother, Jewel Ashley Jones, for felony interference of child custody.
Police believe Sherlock is with Jones, and they could possibly be in Marble Falls; they also possibly left the state.
Sherlock is described as standing 3 feet tall and weighing around 39 pounds. He’s fair-skinned with brown hair and brown eyes.
Jones is described as standing 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing around 120 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes.
