Teddi Mellencamp is continuing to date amid her ongoing divorce from Edwin Arroyave.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum spoke candidly about her romantic life in a three-part sit-down on The Jamie Kern Lima podcast, revealing on the August 12 episode that one of the dating apps she uses is Hinge. That, and the fact that she doesn’t use code names or fake photos.
“Well, I did, at first, not have my bald photo up, and then I was like, now I’m having to explain to everybody,” Teddi said, referencing her ongoing battle with Stage 4 cancer. “[Not that] I’m having to explain to thousands and thousands of people, but once they ask you out, then I’m like, ‘So, do you want the code reds?'”
She went on to share that oftentimes, interested men kind of “peter off,” and she can pretty much spot who about five messages deep.

As for how often she checks the app? About “once every couple days,” Teddi said.
“For a while I wasn’t checking it at all, but most of the time you get a rose or something, which means then I would have to write the thing, and I’m not gonna do it,” she continued. “You have to be reaching out to me, and you have to have something funny, or that’s it. That’s all I got.”

When asked about other dating apps, Teddi said, “I can barely keep track” of Hinge, let alone others. However, she admitted to applying for Raya — an exclusive members-only dating app for celebrities — but was apparently not accepted. What’s more, according to Teddi, neither was her former casemate Erika Jayne.
“We don’t know why,” Teddi shared. “Were we controversial? Like, why didn’t we get in? Are we too old? Is it because I’m not an Insta-model? [whispers] Why didn’t I get in?”
Teddi said she never received any answers, but perhaps it’s for the best, because on Hinge, she typically doesn’t run into anyone she knows. As she put it, “I’ve never looked at Hinge and been like, ‘Oh, I know him.’ Never once.”
Is Teddi Mellencamp dating anyone?
Teddi didn’t share on the August 2025 podcast if she’s seeing anyone she’s matched with on dating apps, but she was most recently linked to a “mystery man,” in June. By July 11, though, Teddi confirmed they had split.
“It started getting to the point where it was starting to get a little bit more serious,” she explained. “And I was like, ‘I don’t have the capacity for this right now’… There’s nothing that he did or anything like that. Nothing dramatic happened.”

Are Teddi Mellencamp and Edwin Arroyave divorced?
On another episode of the The Jamie Kern Lima Show, Teddi admitted that she doesn’t know how to label her current relationship with Edwin.
“Well, I don’t know what to call it,” she said. “What do you call it when you’re on a divorce, and then somebody gets cancer, almost passes away, so then you have to put it on hold. Hold? Hold sounds worse than a break. There’s no good answer. I mean, I could just say husband, but then people are like, ‘You’re married?’ Well, yes, but.”
