“This is my first time,” Jody admitted when he sat down for a confessional interview with Lisa in Season 7, Episode 11 of The Real Housewives of Miami.

Jody was called onto the hot seat after Lisa revealed more about what went down between her, Jody and Larsa Pippen.

“She almost broke us up. Because of her meddling in my relationship,” Lisa admitted.

A producer prompted Jody: “I want you to say your truth. Tell your story…explain how Larsa got between you and Lisa and almost caused you guys to break up.”

“Yeah, I mean, I love Lisa—she’s special—but, she has people coming at her all the time,” Jody responded. “And a percentage of that ends up coming at me too.”

Lisa was frank about Larsa “coming at” both her and Jody during their joint confessional in the August 14 episode, and questioned, “How much can a man take?”

During the interview, producers added context to Jody’s words by flashing back two months to when Larsa told some of the other ‘Wives about her trip to Milan for a fashion show that included Lisa and Jody.

“The last night of Milan, Jody gets so crazy,” Larsa said, describing what happened after “cameras shut down for the night.”

“He doesn’t want us to talk anymore,” she added at the time. “Yelling over us.”

The off-camera drama came after the trio also argued in a shared ride from the Milan airport to their hotel about Lisa and Jody “hanging out” with Larsa’s ex, Marcus Jordan, even after he and Larsa broke up.

“You were at my birthday, saying all these things about me, when I was like…I hugged you. I was nice to you,” Jody told Larsa about how she’d hurt him. “That’s not a nice thing to do at somebody’s birthday.”

Jody, Lisa and Larsa’s conflict continued in the August 14 episode when Lisa called him to share that Larsa was angry at her for not unfollowing Marcus on social media.

“She is literally a bad friend to me,” Lisa told him. “Like she keeps on saying, ‘I’m a good friend. I’m a good friend.’”

But Jody disagreed with Larsa’s self-asssessment.

“Have you ever met a better self-proclaimed ‘friend?’” he asked sarcastically. “Why would you be a good friend to her now?”

Jody urged Lisa not to “worry” about the argument with Larsa “too much.”

“If she’s gonna act like an a—hole, we’re not going to treat her nice in response,” he added.

Then, Jody involved himself further into Lisa and Larsa’s conflict when he began texting Larsa.

“He’s just sending me these long text messages and I’ve never been in this situation before,” Larsa said in a confessional, noting there was nothing “threatening” about Jody’s texts. “Like, you’re a man. You should be dealing with my boyfriend, my brother, my dad, not me personally.”

Larsa revealed that the texts became so bad she “blocked him on [her] phone.”
