Brittany Cartwright is getting her “sparkle” back following the conclusion of The Valley Season 2.

The Valley cast member is still in the midst of her divorce from Jax Taylor and is working hard at co-parenting their son, Cruz Cauchi — but she’s also focusing on her future and all of the exciting things that it will bring.
Brittany appeared on Vanderpump Rules alum Tom Schwartz’s podcast on Aug. 12, where she shared an update on how she’s feeling. “I’m calm, very sparkly, and a beautiful woman,” the mom of one said during a meditation that Tom led her through on the podcast.
“On a scale from 1 to 10, everyone wants to know, how’s your sparkle?” Tom asked Brittany.
“My sparkle is coming back,” Brittany said. “It’s like eight. Out of 10.”
“I’m in a much better place than I was last summer. So yeah,” she added. “It’s time for new beginnings.”

Brittany definitely tried something “new” when she joined the upcoming cast of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test Season 4. Brittany explained to Tom her reasoning for joining the cast of the upcoming show.
“I’m glad I did it, cause it was something different,” she explained. “It was something to push myself with everything that’s going on in my life. It felt like something that was needed.

She continued, noting that the experience was “crazy” for her. “It was the toughest thing I’ve ever done in my life,” she added. “I’ve been very open about heights and how that terrifies me. So doing different things like that, I’m proud of myself.”

Towards the end of Part 3 of The Valley Season 2 reunion, host Andy Cohen asked Jax and Brittany how they were feeling about each other. Andy, more specifically, asked Brittany if the reunion was a “good start” to making amends with Jax.

“I don’t know,” she admitted. “It’s hard. It’s going to take a lot for him to prove to me that he’s actually changing. And I’m sorry, but that’s the truth.”

Brittany’s sparkle is very apparent in her Instagram roundup, showing recent photos from her life. In the series of photos, Brittany can be seen sporting some new blonde hair, swimming in a pool with Cruz, going out to dinner with The Valley cast members Janet Caperna and Jasmine Goode, and showing off her brand new puppy dog, Dolly.
“Lately,” Brittany wrote in the caption of the post, along with a sparkle emoji.
