A lot, according to the mom of Sophia Barney,19; Spencer Barney, 25; Sidney Barney, 26 — all of whom Tamra shares with ex-husband Simon Barney — and Ryan Vieth, 39, whom Tamra had from a previous marriage.
Of Sophia, whose post-high-school path continues to unfold on RHOC Season 19, Tamra said she’s about to turn 20 and is “way more independent” than she once was.
“She has a boyfriend now and talks about maybe possibly moving to New York one day. You know, she’s trying to figure it out,” said the proud mom. “She’s doing her general ed[ucation] at community college, and then she’s moving out. You’ll see this season. Is she gonna go to music school? Is she gonna go to fashion school? Just trying to figure it out.”
But, all in all, “everything’s good” with Sophia, who splits her time between Orange County and Big Bear (where Tamra and husband Eddie Judge have a vacation home).

What’s more, Tamra said Spencer was also doing “good,” adding, “I’m very blessed.”
As for her granddaughter, Ava Vieth — the daughter of Tamra’s eldest, Ryan — Tamra revealed she just had lunch with Ava and her mother, Sarah.
“She’s going great,” Tamra said of Ava. “She’s 10 years old. Ten years old, which is unbelievable.”

What may be Sophia’s final years under her mother’s roof is a major storyline as RHOC Season 19 continues. However, Tamra’s relationship with her estranged daughter, Sidney, remains more complicated.
Even though Tamra saw Sidney at Sophia’s graduation in 2023 and “things were nice,” as Tamra reported on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the relationship has only become more tense — especially as the dynamic was brought up on Season 19 by Gretchen Rossi.

Spencer, meanwhile, has spent less time in front of the camera, as Tamra pointed out to The Daily Dish in 2023. “Spencer is in college getting his psych degree, and he is doing amazing,” Tamra said at the time. “[He’s] been working really hard. He lives about an hour away from us, but we talk every single day. And he’s excited to graduate.”
Tamra’s eldest, Ryan, continues to work with horses as the father of her only grandchild.

Tamra couldn’t contain her love for Ava last year when she took to Instagram to wish Ava a Happy Birthday, stating, “Love you with all my heart.”
Elsewhere less than a year ago, Tamra, Sophia, and Ava enjoyed a girls’ shopping trip to Target and Starbucks, “because obviously,” Tamra captioned the Instagram video. Ahead of the outing, Tamra told her followers she planned to pick her up, then “probably buy her lots of toys that she probably doesn’t need and lots of cute little outfits.”
