Austen Kroll’s bachelor pad is only getting better.
Since purchasing the property in 2021, the Southern Charm cast member has invested a lot of time and money in transforming it into his dream home. We’ve seen Austen elevate his living room, revamp his bedrooms, and upgrade his kitchen with the help of his good friend/interior designer Rodrigo Reyes.
And while the changes have been impressive, Austen was far from finished with the home updates. The Washington, D.C., native confirmed this in a recent Instagram Story in which he showed off his brand new wine cellar.

“I realized I never showed you the finished product of my under-the-stairs wine situation,” he began while filming his home’s dining area. “Here she is. I think she looks wonderful, but now that I’m looking at it, I feel like I kind of want a little border here (the outline of the nook)… I don’t know what it would be.”

Austen proceeded to share a close-up of the small cellar/bar, which featured a white marble countertop from Zimpel Granite & Marble, recessed lighting that beamed on the wine rack, a sleek wine cooler, and a mini refrigerator stocked with some of his favorite beverage brands. He had everything from Waterloo and Alani Nu to Rebel Rabbit and Spritz to Loverboy and, of course, Trop Hop — the beer company he founded in 2021.
“I want to give a shout out to all my friends who helped fill my beverage cooler,” he continued. “Very thankful… But yeah, just wanted to do (the wine cellar reveal) before football season started and this fridge is a mess.”
Austen Kroll teases his next home change
Austen also announced his plans to redo his kitchen cabinets. The storage doors were painted white, which went nicely with the stone countertops; however, Austen said he wanted to repaint the built-ins to match his new wine rack.
“I’m going to make all these cabinets the same color (dark blue) as this, so this side of the room is uniform,” he explained.

Austen Kroll introduces his new roommates, cats Piper and Martini
Austen shared the update about two months after he introduced his two cats, Piper and Martini.
“Happy Birthday… to me!” he wrote in a June 16 Instagram. “Meet Piper and Martini, the newest little stars of SC and my [heart emoji]. Sorry in advance to non cat lovers, but my IG stories about to be [cat and flame emojis].”
The Southern Charm-er has since turned his home into a proper cat house equipped with a window perch, mounted wall steps, and an automatic feeder with a built-in camera.
