Britani Bateman set the record straight on her relationship status with her on-and-off again beau, Jared Osmond, during DIRECTV’s Plot Twist – Featuring Bravo event in New York City on August 12. She also didn’t hold back her thoughts on what she called the “most crazy, explosive season, ever” ahead of Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

“We’re friends,” she admitted to The Daily Dish, before teasing the drama to come. “But, you know, you’ll have to see how it plays out this season. Because it does play out this season.”
Britani and Jared’s relationship was first shown when she joined RHOSLC during Season 5. She opened up to the other ‘Wives about dating the musician — who is also the nephew of Donny Osmond and Marie Osmond — but it turns out that their dynamic will still be a hot topic during Season 6, as an announcement teases that she “returns with an exciting announcement about her love life, [and] proves that not all good things can last, as their relationship reverts to old patterns.”
The RHOSLC Season 6 announcement also notes that as Britani “fosters her relationships within the group, she ends up on the receiving end of one woman’s umbrage.”
“I would say it’s the spiciest, diciest season ever — in the history of the franchise,” Britani added while speaking with The Daily Dish. “Honestly. I mean, I might be a little biased, but that’s honestly what I think.”

As a refresher, Jared and Britani had a tumultuous relationship during Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
“Jared and I have been dating eight months, and we’ve broken up 16 times, I want to say. A lot,” she admitted during a confessional on Season 5, Episode 1. “I feel like I’m on this hamster wheel of dating other people, breaking up, and getting back together [with Jared]. It’s like, ‘Ugh, I’m a crazy person,’ but there’s something about him. Mmm, he’s yummy.”

Britani shared yet another breakup during the Oct. 23, 2024 episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City After Show.
“We’ve been broken up for about three months,” Britani said at the time. “Again, I found shady stuff going on behind my back and I broke up with him. What was it this time? He was on a dating app and wouldn’t show me his phone.”

Despite this, Britani shared that she hasn’t closed the door on their relationship rekindling (again).
“We don’t want the same things,” she said to the publication. “I gave him a list of what I need out of a relationship to make it work, and he said, ‘I can’t comply.’ I said, ‘OK, well, come back to me when you’re ready to.’”
