Lala Kent is in a good place with Vanderpump Rules alums Brock Davies and his wife, Scheana Shay, after Scheana opened up about Brock’s affair in her memoir. Not only that, but Lala also shared whether or not she’s talked to Jax Taylor amid his divorce from Brittany Cartwright.
The VPR alum took to an Amazon Live stream on Aug. 26, where she opened up about her friendships with them today. And when one viewer asked Lala if she had “forgiven Brock” after his affair, she admitted that she has “nothing to forgive him for.” “I mean, he didn’t do anything to me,” she explained.Â
As for where things stand with Jax, Lala noted, “I’ve spoken to him. I haven’t spoken to him a lot.”

Lala continued, saying that she looked to Scheana, who forgave her husband after he cheated on her, for guidance. “I was just following Scheana’s lead,” she said. “She told me what happened because it was going in the book. And I said, ‘I mean, this is going to be a little bit hard for me to like, look at him, but like, how are you feeling?'”
“And she was like, ‘I’m feeling good, I’m working through it.’ And I was like, ‘Great. If you’re good, then all is good,'” Lala recalled. “And Brock’s been, like, a stand-up guy. He’s been a stand-up guy.”

Lala also said that she checked with Brittany first before reaching out to Jax, as Brittany and Jax are currently separated. “I’ve checked in on his sobriety, with the blessing from Brittany, because I never want her to feel like I’m not on her team,” she said. “I never want her to feel like that I’ve forgotten the way that he has affected her.”

Lala, who is six years sober, revealed that she “strictly” talks to Jax about his sobriety, after he revealed in March that he struggles with substance abuse. “And Brittany knows that,” she continued. “I stay very transparent because I don’t — I mean, we all know how Jax is.”
“Sometimes he can misconstrue things, and I just don’t want that,” she admitted. “So it’s more important for me to tell Brittany and show Brittany these are the communications that have happened. And I haven’t spoken to him in quite some time, though. It’s been a minute.”
In addition to giving Brittany a heads up about when she talks to Jax, Lala revealed that she talks to Brittany “all the time.”

The mom of two had previously shared her reaction to Brock’s affair during a July 14 episode of her podcast. She admitted that she had known about the affair before Scheana published an excerpt opening up about it from her memoir, My Good Side, in Glamour.
“Scheana called me and said, ‘I just want to give you a heads up, like, tomorrow, this article is coming out with an excerpt,'” she recalled. “And like, ‘I may need you to tap in.'”

Lala admitted that Brock’s affair did not change her thoughts about him, and she still admires how he is with his daughter, Summer Moon Honey Davies, and her daughters, Ocean Kent Emmett and Sosa Kent. “I have watched him be a great father to Summer Moon,” she noted. “I’ve seen him with Ocean and Sosa, and I just find him to be a very hands-on, great dad.”
“Every time I see him around, he is always very hands-on and on top of everything,” she concluded. “He’s a good father. And people can say what they want about his past. I certainly did. What I certainly know about life is that it doesn’t go as planned.”
