Lala Kent and Tom Schwartz are addressing those rumors about their romance, again, in a super cheeky way.
Earlier this year, several people speculated that the Vanderpump Rules alums were dating after years of being friends. Although they have since denied those rumors (more on that down below), they adorably leaned into them on Lala’s birthday. Tom took to his Instagram Story on Tuesday, Sept. 2, where he posted a photo of her, sitting on a couch, while sticking her tongue out for the camera. Lala looked so silly in the photo, holding her phone in one hand, while flashing Tom a peace sign.
“Happy Bday To my imaginary internet gf,” he wrote over the photo, tagging Lala as well. Lala cosigned these “imaginary” internet girlfriend allegations by reposting the photo to her own Instagram Story.
Lala also took to her Instagram Story on Sept. 2, where she posted a video of her talking about how emotional she felt knowing her daughter, Sosa Kent, would be turning a year old on Sept. 3. “I’ve been asked, ‘What are you doing for your birthday?’ And quite honestly, I forgot about it, because tomorrow is Sosa’s birthday,” she explained.
Tom Schwartz and Lala Kent have “no clue” how their rumored romance originated
Tom and Lala had addressed the dating rumors during a July 1 episode of Tom’s podcast, Detox Retox, admitting that they were not dating each other. “If it’s on the internet, it’s true, right?” Tom jokingly asked Lala. “This is a hard launch.”

Tom also took to the comments of an Instagram post where he fully addressed the claims, telling one commenter, “No, we are not dating.” “No clue where that rumor originated,” he added.
Lala Kent and Tom Schwartz react to comments about their “chemistry”
The friends also appeared on a bonus episode of Lala’s podcast, Give Them Lala, on June 23, where they opened up about the perceived “chemistry” in their friendship. “Can I tell you, Schwartzy, we got this so much [VPR] Season 11,” she explained.
“And I didn’t realize it because I avoid the comment section, but it was every time I went on a podcast or anything like that,” she continued. “People always said that…We talked about it. I feel like I would be way too high-strung and intense for you.”

Tom agreed with this, noting that he was aware of the “chemistry” claims, but knew they would not be good together in a romantic relationship. “Remember, these were your words, ‘You would chew me up,'” he said. “No, I think you said, ‘I eat pieces of s—t like you for breakfast.'”
