ROANOKE, Va. (TCN) —Â A mother faces multiple charges after allegedly rolling onto her son in bed and killing him.
According to the Roanoke Police Department, on the morning of Feb. 14, officers responded to a report of an unconscious infant on Hanover Avenue Northwest, where they located 2-month-old Aka-rri Burnette-Coleman deceased. The baby boy’s mother, 37-year-old Lindsey Burnette, reportedly told authorities she and her son were sleeping in the same bed, and when she woke up, he was unresponsive.
