The two daughters of Vanderpump Rules alum Lala Kent are the very definition of cuteness overload. Lala continues to share some of the best parts of motherhood with little glimpses into the lives of 4-year-old Ocean Kent Emmett and 1-year-old Sosa Kent, and the various antics they get into at home.
In fact, Lala and her “pod” (aka her family) epitomize joy with the small but spontaneous at-home adventures, between life with the family dogs and girly hairstyles. In one of Lala’s recent Instagram Stories, the mama proudly shared a short selfie-style video as she held baby Sosa on her hip. Lala sweetly told the child, “I like your bangs, you little emo baby?” Sosa looked up at Lala with a sense of wonder as Lala zoomed in and continued with a sing-song voice, “I love them.”
In the short video clip, Sosa wore a light-pink top with big, tan buttons, her blonde-to-light-brown hair still growing down her forehead.

Lala’s recent reveal of her own (unintentional) bangs, plus Ocean giving fringe to herself, have proven that the hairstyle is popular in the Give Them Lala Beauty founder’s home. It certainly left Lala smiling in the aforementioned video.
What else are Lala Kent’s kids up to today?
In another Instagram Story, Lala shared a snap of the infant in a pink getup with printed strawberries, looking up at the camera from a bird’s eye view over her highchair. Sosa made a mess with the food, eating with her hands, as the family’s three dogs kept close for any chance to get some scraps.
Lala’s beloved dog, Lilly, has been a mainstay in the household since the girls were born. She has shown face in many family photos, including a girl-empowering photo to mark Ocean turning 7 months, and playtime with baby Sosa.
In another video uploaded by the Give Them Lala podcaster, Lala caught Ocean having the time of her life after crawling into the dog bed belonging to their fur babies. She captioned the post, “Lovely. Freshly bathed and into the dog bed … then into my bed. Yum.”

Just washed and wearing pajamas, Ocean innocently brought her hands under her chin with the cuddly dog’s arms over her belly. Lala said it was time to get into “an actual bed,” prompting Ocean to jump from the cozy nook under the stairs. Lilly got up to inspect the action.
Ocean said she liked the dog bed “because I just like her.” She turned her back to Lala and asked, “Do I have any fur on me?” To which Lala responded, “I’m sure you do.”
The daughter said, “oopsies” before both laughed at the situation.
It’s been a busy time for Lala, who also threw Sosa’s 1st birthday party, attended by their loved ones, earlier this month. The party took place at their home and included plenty of activities in the backyard of their Valley Village house.
Lala Kent shares insight into motherhood with her daughters
Ocean cuddling with the pup was similar to what followers saw in a June 2024 Instagram post when Lala shared “Life is cute right now,” the dog’s arm over the girl. Listing off some of their most cherished memories, Lala stated, “O had her first dance recital. She always talks about being on stage. I thought maybe once she saw the crowd she would freak out. Not at all. She is a star.”
Earlier this month, Lala summed up motherhood with a handful of Instagram photos of their quality family time. Adventures on the water, children’s drawings, and backyard picnics were just a few of their sweetest moments.
“My life,” Lala wrote with a praying-hands emoji. “In my little bubble. I’ll come back to Reality when I’m ready.”
