Yes, Jennifer Pedranti and her fiancé, Ryan Boyajian, are still engaged and still so in love with each other. But, The Real Housewives of Orange County couple have not yet set a wedding date for a very specific reason.

Jenn appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Thursday, Sept. 11, where she shared all of the updates surrounding their upcoming wedding. But, Jenn admitted that things have been put on pause due to her 18-year-old son, Dawson, joining the U.S. Marine Corps, as she wants him to at the wedding, along with her four other children that she shares with her ex-husband.
“We don’t have an update yet,” Jenn explained to WWHL host Andy Cohen, admitting that they still have not set a wedding date. “We talked the other day about going to the courthouse.”
“I need Dawson,” she continued. “I need Dawson home for a chunk of time. I’m not doing it without the kids.”
Jenn had previously stated this during RHOC Season 19, Episode 1, when she was trying on wedding bathing suits with Ryan. “I’m not getting married without Dawson being there,” she said during the episode.Â
“I agree,” Ryan added.

Dawson’s absence has affected Jenn. The mom of five took to Instagram on June 26, where she posted a black and white photo hugging her son, and shared her honest and emotional thoughts about Dawson, as he prepared to head off to boot camp in July.

“Honestly, there is no way to put it into words. I know that may sound cliché…but for me there just isn’t,” she wrote. “How do I feel…Dawson, Ryan, and I grabbed Starbucks together yesterday…we talked about all the normal things. Nothing serious or heavy..just the 3 of us having coffee. When it’s time to go..I can’t let him go. I probably make him (Dawson) stand there and let me hug her way longer..it’s the letting go that’s way harder.”
“I love this kid so much,” she added. “I am so proud of him.”

Ever since Jenn and Ryan got engaged in April 2024, she has been very open about her wedding plans. When speaking with The Daily Dish at the start of RHOC Season 19, Jenn admitted that she and Ryan wanted to get married on the beach, while wearing a bikini with their kids surrounding them, as well as some “Malibu rum.”
In a Nov. 2024 interview with The Daily Dish, Jenn admitted that she would also be open to having a “super easy” wedding by doing something more casual. “I could walk down to the courthouse and sign papers,” she said. “I’m not looking for any big thing.”

However, during RHOCÂ Season 19, Episode 5, Jenn admitted that she was just a little fearful about getting married for a second time. “I’m not scared about getting married to Ryan,” she said in a confessional during the episode. “I’m scared about a marriage that doesn’t work. I don’t ever want to go through that, again, but I’m not marrying my ex-husband, again. I’m marrying my best friend, and that I have zero reservations about that.”
