Captain Kerry Titheradge has a lot to look forward to after Below Deck Season 12. The super yacht captain and mental health advocate recently spoke with The Daily Dish, where he opened up about his girlfriend and life today.
Captain Kerry, who shares two children with his ex-wife, confirmed that he is seeing someone, but kept more details about the relationship private. “I do have someone in my life, and I’m grateful for it,” he admitted about his romance with his girlfriend. “After everything I’ve been through, I don’t take love or connection for granted.”
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Sept. 15, Kerry skirted around the subject when asked if he was single. Instead, he chose to take a sip from his drink and accidentally knocked his garnish onto the floor. “Oops,” he said.
This special person in his life isn’t the only thing that Kerry is grateful for. He continued, opening up about his career when he isn’t sailing around with the Below Deck crew. “Right now, I’m based in Florida, though I’m often bouncing between the U.S. and Australia depending on work and family,” he said in an interview with The Daily Dish. “I’m running my company, Yachting Concepts, where we manage and support some of the largest yachts in the world — that keeps me plenty busy.”

“I’m also deeply committed to my work as a mental health advocate, and to supporting causes close to my heart, like children’s cancer research and animal rescue,” he noted. “Beyond yachting, I’ve got a few exciting projects coming up that will give me the chance to share more of my journey, both at sea and through my charity work, and I’m really looking forward to that.”
Captain Kerry opened up about his divorce on Below Deck Season 11
Kerry, who had previously been linked to Gönül Bihan, had opened up about his divorce during Below Deck Season 11, Episode 1, where he shared some of his background with his crew members. “I was married, and then that ended,” he said. “It wasn’t good. I was running a 300-foot yacht. Gave it all up for my kids.”
“I went from being a captain of a multi-million dollar yacht to painting houses,” he continued in a confessional during the episode. “I went and did a job that I could focus on myself — put my earbuds in, listen to self-help work. I was there for my kids every day, and I could get myself better.”

As he explained to the crew, when the divorce happened, he wanted to be there for his children. “I was taught, you know, the mom’s there to be emotional support, [and] the dad’s there to be the money and the disciplinarian,” he told them. “And when that happened, it gave me the opportunity to be there for them emotionally as well.”
