Even trading the iconic sprinter van for an RV couldn’t stop history from (sort of) repeating itself on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
As seen on the supersized RHOSLC Season 6 premiere, cast members — including Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Bronwyn Newport, Whitney Rose, and friend Britani Bateman — had barely recovered from the shock that they’d be roughing it on Angie Katsanevas and Mary Cosby’s camping trip rather than jetting off on a luxe getaway, before the next shocker came knocking at the RV’s door.
While still parked outside Heather’s Beauty Lab + Laser — much like they were during that infamous Season 2 moment — Angie was pouring shots when Whitney spotted a SWAT team “coming towards” the RV.
“Why are the police here?” Angie asked, as the concerned women crowded to look out the window together. “They are surrounding the RV, you guys.”

Heather went to investigate further, at which point an officer informed her, “We’re looking for Whitney Rose.”
When Whitney identified herself, a uniformed man began handcuffing her, stating, “I need to place you under arrest.” It quickly became clear that the whole incident was a prank, however, when he revealed her offense — “You’ve been a bad girl. A very bad girl,” — and began stripping, along with his other fellow “officers.”
“The minute I heard that we were departing from Beauty Lab, I knew I had to pull a prank,” Whitney explained in a confessional. “I hired the strippers to come to the Beauty Lab parking lot, and I told them to wait for my signal. It was a lot harder than I thought to find male strippers in Utah, by the way.”
How the RHOSLC cast reacted to Whitney Rose’s SWAT prank
At first, some of the women were instantly reminded of the similar, very real incident from four years earlier, with Heather declaring in a confessional, “This is like PTSD. What the f–k?”
Once Whitney revealed her “surprise,” along with the uniformed men’s true identity, however, Heather changed her tune, adding, “I’m just glad there are no federal charges pending this time.”
Most of the women joined in the fun (Lisa Barlow was the only absent cast member), making it rain with dollar bills and chanting, “Girls’ trip!” as the guys danced shirtless aboard the RV. There were a couple complaints, however.

“I wouldn’t mind a stripper if he was closer to my age,” Angie weighed in. “But when they’re, like, old enough to throw over your shoulder and burp ’em… It feels kinda a little weird.”
Added Mary in a confessional, “No, no, no, and no. I mean, where was the muscles? OK, never mind.”
Whitney, meanwhile, was pleased with her prank’s outcome, telling a producer, “This is exactly what I envisioned, and this is how you start a fun girls’ trip.”
