Andy, more specifically, said he found Whitney’s campside confession about her business to be “brave and honest.”

Angie agreed with the WWHL host, stating that she “loved” Whitney’s ability to be vulnerable with the group: “We were surrounded, at the campfire, by business owners, women who have taken risks, entrepreneurs who have had visions, and I think we felt that.”

“I think the whole world can relate to putting themselves out there,” Angie continued. “I was so proud of her, and it showed her vulnerability and the friendships in the group. And she received a lot of support. So I love that for her.”

ICYMI, Whitney’s fireside comments on the Season 6 premiere came during the ’Wives’ less-than-luxurious RV trip (and amid pre-season teasers that Whitney and her husband, Justin Rose, are facing “devastating missteps” in their finances).

What Whitney Rose revealed about her failed business on RHOSLC

During the girls’ trip, Whitney copped to the failed business venture after Britani Bateman noted — in defense of Lisa Barlow skipping the trip for work purposes — that Whitney’s business had been “dragged like crazy” as of late. Although Britani later apologized for her remarks, Whitney told Heather Gay, Mary Cosby, Meredith Marks, and Bronwyn Newport that she did indeed have to lay off 30 employees, in addition to referencing “millions” in losses and “thousands” of customers.

As Whitney told the group, “Now we have nothing.”

In a confessional, she added, “It’s so emotionally hard for me because I didn’t just fail myself. I failed all my employees, I failed my customers, I failed my family. Like, I just feel, like, the weight of everyone that this has affected.”

Whitney, to the Housewives, said the disaster stemmed from her making “a bad choice,” and now she was “cleaning up all the s–t from it.” But, the RHOSLC women had her back. Said Angie, “I have to say, too, like, it takes a lot of courage to be an entrepreneur or to take a risk or to start your own business.”

What are Whitney Rose’s businesses?

Whitney co-founded the jewelry line, PRISM and is the founder and owner of Wild Rose Beauty, a direct-to-consumer skincare brand, according to her Instagram bio. Viewers may recall that she documented the latter’s rebrand from Iris + Beau on RHOSLC Season 2.
