Paul “PK” Kemsley is clearing the air on “untrue” rumors surrounding his upcoming project with Boy George.
PK has been very busy with his career as a talent manager for Culture Club singer Boy George, as PK navigates his divorce from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Dorit Kemsley. And now, PK is putting his management skills to use in addressing a rumor about the upcoming Boy George biopic.
PK took to his Instagram Story on Sept. 19, where he posted a photo of a story in a publication that alleged that Boy George’s upcoming biopic (more on that down below) has been put on pause. But, PK quickly put those rumors to bed, revealing that the film is still on. “Not only wildly untrue!!!” PK wrote over the photo. “We are making this movie.”

PK had previously taken to his Instagram Story in February of this year, where he revealed that he had spent the day meeting with high-powered individuals about the movie. “All day script chats with our major studio..yup the movie is coming and maybe it’s time we all learnt what the word icon means,” he wrote over a photo of young Boy George. “Just saying.”

In August 2024, Deadline reported that J.C. Lee was enlisted to write the screenplay for the biopic. The publication also reported that Boy George will serve as an executive producer of the movie, which will focus on the “smash success years” of Culture Club.

PK’s friendship with Boy George goes beyond a working friendship. The singer is also close to PK’s two children, Jagger and Phoenix Kemsley, that he shares with Dorit.

PK took to his Instagram Story in July, where he revealed that his kids had reunited with Boy George in Los Angeles. The father of two snapped the photos of his kids, who wore LA Dodgers gear, and were happy to be spend time with the singer.
“Phoenix with her GD father is a Beverly Hills moment,” he wrote over a photo of them together.
