On Saturday, September 20, Kyle took to Instagram to share a series of birthday tributes to her on-again, off-again friend. She kicked things off on a comedic note, posting Sutton’s slow-motion E! Glambot shot from the 2021 People’s Choice Awards. The red-carpet clip showed Sutton delivering a dramatic, wide-eyed, open-mouthed pose, which she later regretted.
“Happy birthday [Sutton],” Kyle captioned the Glambot moment. “I couldn’t resist. Sorry [crying laughing emojis].”

The Housewife went on to post a few sweet moments between her and Sutton, while acknowledging the ups and downs in their friendship.
“Adore you,” Kyle wrote in the birthday tributes. “Even through all the drama… we find a way to laugh. Happy Birthday.”

The ladies’ friendship came into question this month when Kyle posted a photo from her daughter Alexia Umansky’s wedding reception. The group shot showed Kyle alongside RHOBH’s Erika Jayne as well as RHOBH alums Lisa Rinna and Teddi Mellencamp. Although the reunion shot was generally well-received, some fans couldn’t help but wonder why Sutton was missing. Kyle later confirmed that Sutton did attend the lavish celebration, but “missed the photo.”
Sutton also received sweet messages from Kyle’s big sister Kathy Hilton and RHOBH friend Jennifer Tilly. The former celebrated the special day by sharing a throwback photo of her and Sutton’s lunch with Jennifer.
“Happy birthday [Sutton]!!!” Kathy wrote. “I love you and can’t wait to celebrate you when you’re back home.”
Sutton Stracke celebrates her birthday with her son Philip Stracke
Sutton spent her birthday in South Carolina alongside her eldest son, Philip Stracke. The mother of three was in the Palmetto State for Parents Weekend at The Citadel, where Phillip is completing his undergrad. Sutton shared a few peeks at her brief trip on Instagram, posting photos of her and her boy at a tailgating event, and her intimate birthday celebration with friends and family.
