It looks like Bronwyn Newport recently had some fun as a blonde. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member has sported so many different hairstyles over the years, including, most recently, a dark brown bob. But, she truly got to test out the statement “blondes have more fun” after the brunette’s recent stunning transformation.

Bronwyn took to her Instagram Story on Sunday, Sept. 21, where she showed off her shocking new look. The mom of one took to her Story, where she posted a “before” photo and revealed that she got her first drag queen transformation with the help of Sequoia and Lady Façade. “Went from this to…” she wrote over the first photo.
“…THIS,” she wrote over the second photo, showing off her bold makeover into a platinum blonde bombshell. In the photo, Bronwyn can be seen wearing a long, wavy, platinum blonde wig with a deep side part, wearing a light pink dress, fashioned out of handbags. Bronwyn’s rhinestone-studded makeup also looked so bold and beautiful.

Bronwyn continued to show more looks at her fabulous transformation, taking to her Instagram Story to post two pictures of her surrounded by others. She took to one caption, where she opened up about her longtime love of the art of drag.
“I love drag so much!” she noted. “It is truly such a powerful form of self-expression, creativity, and the happiest, most talented community! I love seeing how empowered the transformation in drag makes people feel, how free and bold to show up as their authentic selves! I feel so grateful for my experience today, not just watching as always, but participating!”

But Bronwyn is quite familiar with having long hair, as her short brown bob is now a new look for her. During Part 1 of the RHOSLC Season 5 reunion, filmed in December 2024, Bronwyn told host Andy Cohen that she had changed her look. Instead of grilling her about the past season, Andy then started questioning her about her hair.
“Have you always been a short hair gal?” he asked her.

“No!” Bronwyn replied. “My hair’s always been like, almost waist length my whole life, until last year I cut it all off and now that’s what I’m doing, yeah.”
“It suits you,” RHOSLC cast member, Mary Cosby, told Bronwyn.

Bronwyn then took to her Instagram Story in February of this year, where she shared how she’s been caring for her hair as it grows. “I wanted to [make] sure my hair was set up for its best year yet,” she said in the now-disappeared video, as she got prepared for New York Fashion Week.

She then revealed that she now takes vitamins to have “healthier hair” and promote its growth. “I already see a huge change in both my hair growth and its health,” she added. “This morning, my hairstylist was blowing out and styling my hair for a runway show, and even she commented on it.”
