The peach doesn’t fall far from the peach tree for The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Porsha Williams and her only child, Pilar Jhena “PJ” McKinley.
Fresh off of her epic appearance on NBC’s Brilliant Minds, the successful actress and Housewife touched on motherhood in a Sept. 23 interview with Hello Beautiful when teasing a fashion-related career move in the near-enough future. The divorcée said her daughter, whom she shares with former fiancé Dennis McKinley, may one day follow in her path since both have a shared passion for fashion. As Porsha put it, “I want her to have her own confidence. As long as she feels good and confident in what she wears, that’s all that matters.”
According to the digital magazine, Pilar has a playful sense of fashion and loves sparkly Members Only jackets and jogger sets. What’s more, the 6-year-old designs her own patches, not unlike the ones seen on her denim jacket in a Sept. 15 Instagram post by her mom.
“Sometimes I just freeze frame moments with Pilar,” Porsha continued to the outlet. “Whether we’re coloring or making pancakes, because those are the memories that matter.”

Pilar was joined by her parents on Aug. 15 when she reached an exciting milestone: Day one of the first grade.
Porsha shared a handful of Instagram pics from the special day, celebrating the back-to-school event with eye-popping and colorful balloon arches customized just for Pilar. For the occasion, Pilar sported a stylish denim jacket bedazzled with pink rhinestones, a sparkly choice for the budding fashionista. “We had to celebrate,” said the mom.
Dennis also shared an exciting Instagram video from the special day, allowing a peek at Pilar’s “get to know me” board. Although the young girl didn’t list anything related to her fashionable pursuits, she wrote that she wanted to grow up to be a police officer.

Dennis also praised Porsha on Mother’s Day, gushing over the Housewife’s parenting on Instagram: “I just want to take a moment to honor the incredible women in my life who surround [PJ] daily to make sure she is good — my amazing co-parent/baby momma & patna/sister and our mothers,” he wrote. “You are the strength, the [heart emoji], and the glue that holds everything together.”
