Jenn Pedranti and Ryan Boyajian are preparing to get married on Season 19 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, and she took an important step toward walking down the aisle by asking her daughter Everleigh to be her maid of honor on Episode 12.
However, as the mom of five sat down for the big conversation, she realized Everleigh’s feelings about her potential second marriage were a bit complicated.
“My relationship with my dad’s really good,” the 14-year-old shared in a rare confessional alongside her mom. “So it’s just like, weird, to think about my mom getting remarried.”
Everleigh teared up as she explained why a second wedding was strange to her: “Because I feel like you get married once, you have your family, like your dad and everything — so I feel like it’s just like, weird, in a way.”
As Everleigh wiped away tears with a tissue, Jenn admitted she understood her daughter’s pain.
“We were a really good family,” she said of her ex-husband. “And when that splits, and then it gets really where there’s no relationship at all anymore, it’s like truly — it’s like mourning a death.”
She gestured towards Everleigh crying as she added, “Obviously.”

As Jenn and Ryan made plans for their wedding on the Sept. 25 episode, Jenn decided to ask her only daughter to more officially be in the wedding as a maid of honor.
“We’re like best friends, and she’ll be like living with me when I have my kids,” Everleigh joked of their close mother/daughter bond.
After Everleigh experienced her first facial, Jenn decided to broach the topic.
“When you get married, typically, you have your best friend stand with you, and you’re my best friend,” Jenn told her. “And I want you to stand with me when I marry Ryan.”

But Jenn, who finalized her divorce from her ex in the summer of 2024, was also sensitive to Everleigh’s feelings, asking, “Is that weird? Being married to somebody else? Not dad?”
Although Everleigh responded, “No, not really,” she teared up, and Jenn pushed for an honest answer.
“I don’t know,” Everleigh added, shrugging. “It’s just weird you getting married again. But, I’m excited for you.”
Everleigh insisted she did want Jenn to remarry, and Jenn decided to confide in her daughter why she wanted to marry Ryan.
“I want to be married again because I love having a partner in my life. And I do feel like Ryan is my partner,” she told her daughter, and later added, “I want to marry my best friend, and show you the best version of your mom. And I want to do that with you by my side.”
Although Everleigh said yes to being Jenn’s maid of honor, Jenn still had complicated feelings about the wedding.
“It’s such a s—ty trade. Because I’m finally prioritizing a relationship with a man who spends time with me, who’s my best friend, and look at the collateral damage,” she said of her daughter. “And it’s in these moments where I feel like a failure. I feel like I let [my kids] down.”

Jenn shared positive news with Gretchen Rossi on The Real Housewives of Orange County After Show about her daughter’s current relationship with Ryan: “They’re great.”
But it wasn’t always that way. Jenn also opened up about how her children struggled when they moved into Ryan’s home during RHOC Season 18.
“I remember we all would have these conversations like, ‘Are you good? Are you not good? Do you feel like you’re home?’ Because they lost home. Like we lost home and they went to Ryan’s,” she admitted on the After Show. “So it took a while to feel like, ‘This isn’t Ryan’s home, this is our home.’”
Jenn also shared a story with Gretchen about a time she and Ryan took Everleigh, who was about 11 years old at the time, on vacation with them early in their relationship.

“It was miserable because Ryan held my hand,” she explained. “She lost her mind that trip. Oh my god, it was so bad.”
Jenn conceded that Everleigh “just wasn’t ready” at the time.
“Now, they’re hilarious,” Jenn said to describe Everleigh’s current relationship with Ryan.
