Kyle Richards is sharing a major update on her living situation, more than a year after her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, moved out of their Encino home, including whether her adult daughter, Sophia Umansky, is still living in her house.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom of four took to an Amazon Live stream on Sept. 24, where she shared the latest on her living situation. It was here that she confirmed that Sophia, who is focusing on her career in social media, is living with her at her family’s house. “Sophia lives at home with me still,” Kyle said. “So she’ll drag me into doing her TikToks with her, but it’s actually really fun.”
Although Kyle might be “dragged” into making videos with Sophia, she does appear to have so much fun filming them. In the past month, Kyle and Alexia have filmed videos shopping for Halloween decor, in addition to a video of them lip-synching to an audio clip from a conversation between Kyle and Kim Richards in RHOBH Season 2, Episode 19.

But it’s not just Kyle living in the house with her daughters. They also share the home with their many dogs and cats. Sophia adopted her cat, Pippa, in October 2024, and recently adopted a brand new kitten. She took to TikTok on Sept. 27, where she revealed that she also adopted a kitten for her oldest sister, Farrah Brittany Aldjufrie, on the same day, two months after her cat, Blue, passed away.
“When I was picking which kitten I wanted, there were so many cute ones, and there was one other one I was like, dying over, and I convinced Farrah to get it, so there’s two kittens here,” she explained in the video.

Sophia was then able to introduce Farrah to her new baby, whom she named Theo, before she left for the weekend. This allowed Sophia to babysit both kittens over the weekend, and she took plenty of photos and videos of them. And Pippa didn’t seem to mind their arrival.

Kyle previously took to Amazon Live in July, where she shared an update on Sophia’s career. She admitted that her dauhgter had paused pursuing a career in real estate to fully pursue a career in social media.

“It’s so funny because real estate was not for her,” she admitted. “And she started doing this, and that’s actually her business now. She’s actually doing really well. She is so funny and does not hold back with anything.”
