Police in Georgia have arrested a 48-year-old man for the murder of a woman found dead and stuffed into a trash can in a Macon apartment.
Snapper Orlando Brundage was arrested on Tuesday in Atlanta by US Marshals and brought back to Macon, where he is charged with the murder of Teasha Ariele Colbert, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office said.
Colbert, 42, was found dead on September 11 by deputies who were investigating her reported disappearance.
Brundage was identified as a suspect fairly early in the investigation, and detectives launched a search for him.
The sheriff’s office called the murder a possible “domestic” situation, but little information has been released.
Brundage is being held without bond.
