Cole McBee and Kacie Adkison of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys both say they’re “ready” to take their relationship to the next level.
In an exclusive interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish after the conclusion of Season 2, the McBee brother said things between him and his partner of more than five years are more serious than ever, especially since they welcomed their first child, Blair Collins McBee, in December. As he put it, “I think we are both ready for the next step. So, maybe it will happen soon.
Following the fairy tale wedding of Cole’s older brother Jesse McBee to Alli Ventresca, Cole and Kacie tying the knot would mark the second marriage for the McBee brothers of Gallatin, Missouri. And it sounds like Kacie, too, might be leaning in that direction. She was not only “ready” but “excited” to take the relationship down the aisle.
“Becoming parents has brought us so much closer, and I feel confident in our relationship to take that next step,” said the fiancée-to-be. “Blair will be a beautiful flower girl, and that makes it even more special.”

Kacie Adkison says Cole McBee “stepped up” after the birth of their daughter
Kacie has also seen things progress positively between them since Blair became the first of the current generation of McBees. (She was born only months before Jesse and Alli’s daughter, Summer Leigh McBee, entered the world.)
In agreement with Cole, Kacie said having a child changed their relationship “for the better.” Additionally, she said Cole “stepped up in ways I never could have imagined” — not only as a father, but also as someone who can help Kacie navigate motherhood and “everything that comes with postpartum life.”

The expectant challenges have cemented their bond, Kacie told The Daily Dish: “Parenting has taught us both patience and a deeper appreciation for each other. Seeing Cole with Blair reminds me why I fell in love with him in the first place, and I truly believe there is nothing in this world he wouldn’t do for Blair and me.”
Continued Kacie, “Parenthood can be hard, but every day I notice how much stronger our bond has become and how lucky we are to be building a life together as a family of three.”
Why Kacie Adkison previously rejected Cole McBee’s proposal
Those who tuned in to The McBee Dynasty will recall when Cole’s mom, Kristi McBee, helped the third of her four sons pick the perfect engagement ring for Kacie. But, Kacie politely declined the proposal during a romantic outing on Season 2, Episode 8. As she told Cole, “I just think we need a little more time … I don’t wanna get engaged just because it’s the next step in our relationship. I wanna get married because, like, I wanna spend the rest of my life with you.”
Cole hasn’t revealed when he’ll pop the question again.
A timeline of Cole McBee and Kacie Adkison’s relationship
Last year, when the show’s first season debuted on the USA Network, Kacie explained to USA Insider that she and Cole met five years ago through a mutual friend. She admitted that she “friend-zoned [Cole] pretty hard” at first but then “fully jumped into it” once things accelerated.
Audiences have seen some of their ups and downs, from Cole almost bringing another woman back to the McBees’ Nashville pad on Season 1 to his drunken behavior in the Ozarks on the sophomore season.
Suffice to say, the couple has come a long way.
