The granddaughter of The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s Tamra Judge keeps growing tall, and that’s not just the Housewife’s opinion.

The OC mom of four shared a rare update on grandma life, posting a photo with 10-year-old Ava Vieth that had to be seen to be believed. Fans of the series can find themselves hard-pressed to catch Tamra and the daughter of Tamra’s eldest, Ryan Vieth, in action, making the Instagram Story all the more special. And, by the looks of it, a happy time was had by all.
In the Oct. 1 post, Ava smiled widely with her arms down by her side in the parking lot photo, wearing a red shirt and a sage-green backpack behind her. Next to her, Tamra posed cross-armed with her back to her only grandchild. A white tee, blue jeans, and a brown-leather Prada purse helped her capture the moment.
Said the Cali Housewife, “Ava is catching up to me,” and she wasn’t wrong. Only a few inches separated them in height.
Who is Tamra Judge’s granddaughter, Ava?
Tamra’s updates about Ava are few and far between, but “everything’s good” with the fam, Tamra previously told Bravo’s The Daily Dish. What’s more, the Two Ts in a Pod co-host said back in August, “She’s doing great! She’s 10 years old. Ten years old, which is unbelievable.”
At the time, Tamra said she recently had lunch with the child’s mother and Ryan’s ex-fiancée, Sarah Rodriguez, a glimpse into the former couple’s co-parenting journey.
Nothing has stopped Tamra from telling the world how much she loves Ava. Last year, for her 9th birthday, the HW took to Instagram to wish her granddaughter a happy birthday, declaring, “Love you with all my heart.” They celebrated the joyous occasion at Tamra and Eddie Judge’s Big Bear vacation home.

What are Tamra Judge’s kids up to these days?
Since Tamra joined Housewives in 2007, audiences have had a front-row seat to her motherhood journey.
Her oldest and Ava’s father, 39-year-old Ryan — whom Tamra had as a teen mom — stepped away from the spotlight and works with horses. Otherwise, Tamra shares Sophia Barney, 19, Spencer Barney, 25, and Sidney Barney, 26, with ex-husband Simon Barney.
Although tensions with Sidney have been a significant part of Tamra’s life on-screen, daughter Sophia has been “way more independent” following her high school graduation as she furthers her education at community college, Tamra told The Daily Dish.
”She has a boyfriend now and talks about maybe possibly moving to New York one day,” Tamra continued, adding that Sophia took a genuine interest in pursuing studies at LA’s Musicians Institute. “She’s trying to figure it all out.”
