Tamra Judge is rethinking her friendship with Katie Ginella on The Real Housewives of Orange County.
During her Spring Fling cake decorating party on Season 19, Episode 13, Tamra was still reeling from her explosive confrontation with Gretchen Rossi at the group’s tactical training day over rumors she allegedly had an “affair” with a boy bander roughly 15 years ago. After Heather Dubrow theorized that Gretchen “doesn’t lie,” because she actually “believes what she is saying,” regardless of whether it’s true or false, Emily Simpson noted that’s “the same thing” they say about Katie.
That’s when Tamra made her big reveal about Katie: “I talked to her yesterday. I’m gonna meet with her,” she announced. “She’s gonna tell me everything.”
Emily immediately questioned why she would “believe anything” Katie told her, to which Tamra vaguely explained, “Because there’s something that she said that resonated with me.”

Tamra elaborated in a confessional that “something in [her] gut” was telling her that Gretchen “100 percent told Katie” the allegations that came to light in New Orleans. “I wanna know exactly what Gretchen said to her,” she added. “I want any receipts she has.”
Needless to say, her willingness to “sit down” with Katie upset Emily (more on that below), eventually leading Tamra to point out a “double standard” to a producer.
“Why are they sitting down with Gretchen who’s done 100 times worse than what Katie’s done to any of them? And they’re not having a problem with her,” she said, before declaring, “It’s the double standards that make me sick in this group.”
How Emily Simpson reacted to Tamra Judge talking to Katie Ginella
As you may recall, Emily is the one who booted Katie from her home after the polygraph results were revealed during her Persian New Year party.
“So you’re gonna sit down with someone that hurt me and my children?” Emily fumed at Tamra, before referencing issues Katie had with other RHOC cast members, including Shannon Storms Beador and Gina Kirschenheiter. “In this moment, you’re gonna believe what she has to say, because it works for your narrative against Gretchen?”
Tamra responded, “No, I want to know if she has detailed information.”Â
Unsatisfied with her justification, Emily continued, “Honestly, if you sit down with her, that really pisses me off.”
Emily went on to reference drama they had earlier the same day, in which she admitted to saying that she didn’t trust Tamra during Heather’s sleepover in Los Angeles.

“And then you wanna be upset that I said I didn’t trust you?” Emily asked, prompting Tamra to claim there’s a “big difference” between the two situations.
“No, it’s not a big difference,” Emily said. “It’s worse.”
Tamra, meanwhile, asked if they could quit arguing and “just decorate cakes,” but Emily threw one more barb, replying, “No, I’m saying that pisses me off. You wanna say you’re hurt? I’m f–kin’ hurt.”
What led Tamra Judge to claim she’s quitting RHOC after her party
Emily’s confession about what she said at the slumber party was only the tip of the iceberg, as she further told Tamra that Heather also named her as the person she trusts the least. That led Tamra to retreat upstairs in tears — and that was even before any of her other guests arrived.
Following her dustup with Emily, Tamra confronted Heather later, telling her, “This will be the last time I ever film. After what you f–kin’ did to me…” The two went back and forth laying out their mutual “hurt” over everything from their drama in New Orleans to Tamra allegedly “s–t talking” Heather’s comedy career in Temecula.
After they finished decorating their cakes, Tamra also called out Jennifer Pedranti for following the “pop star” she was accused of allegedly hooking up with on social media, leading to another argument.
While the other women had a fireside debrief out on her patio, Tamra remained inside her kitchen solo, so Heather eventually went back to check on her. Once again, Tamra told her, “I’m done,” leading the others who overheard her statement to assume she was “quitting again.”
Tamra tearfully pivoted back to their conversation about trust, and Heather doubled down on her statement. That prompted Tamra to further point out how Heather was “very aggressive” during their post-New Orleans sitdown, even despite her being “at the lowest time” of her life.
The two continued to air out their friendship grievances, and Emily eventually joined the conversation. Realizing they were getting nowhere because of how “upset” Tamra was, Heather suggested they talk another time.
“Sure,” Tamra responded. “Have a great season. I’m done.”
As she exited her kitchen and ascended the stairs again in the Oct. 2 episode’s final moments, Tamra briefly made eye contact with the camera as she continued, “Absolutely done. I hope you’re happy with yourself.”
As you wait to see if she returns again, find out what led Tamra to “quit” RHOC earlier on Season 19.
