Heather Dubrow has made it clear on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 19 that she doesn’t find much humor in her fellow ‘Wives laughing at her latest acting career move to get back into comedy.

It came after Shannon Storms Beador confessed to Heather during Episode 13 that news of Heather joining the Groundlings (an improvisation and sketch comedy theatre in Los Angeles) was met with laughter by Shannon, Gina Kirschenheiter, Jennifer Pedranti and Tamra Judge. Heather wasn’t happy to hear about the reaction.

“By the way, I am a comedic actress, and I am a comedian, and I’ve done standup,” Heather replied to Shannon.

Heather also referenced The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum and former RHOC friend Taylor Armstrong throwing shade at her IMDb page back on Season 17, and asked Shannon, “Do I have to read my IMDb all over again?”

Heather shared her frustration in her confessional interview: “It’s so disappointing to me that I constantly have to defend anything I’ve done. In my life or in my career.”

She added she expected support from anyone she considers a friend. “I could be the most humorless person in the world. If I want to take stand-up comedy classes, you should be like, ‘That’s a great idea.’ Support me. This is what friends do. It’s really hurtful if you’re not supporting me.”

Heather Dubrow confronts Gina Kirschenheiter over her comedy career comments

Heather decided to confront Tamra during a party in the Oct. 2 episode, but it ended up being Gina that got the brunt of her anger. Heather pointed out in her confessional that if Gina is her “close friend,” she should know that Heather was “a sitcom actress for years.” She asked Gina to explain what happened during the ‘Wives conversation about her in Episode 11.

“I didn’t know that you were trying—that you were a comedian, Heather. I’ve never seen this funny side from you before,” Gina told her.

When Heather answered, “So what do you think acting is?” Gina was honest: “Well there’s different lanes, and to be honest, I don’t know you as a comedian.”

Gina bluntly added, “I just don’t really find you that funny.”

Heather and Gina took their showdown away from the other ‘Wives and talked more outside. That’s when Heather admitted how vulnerable her new path in life was for her.

“I put all of my s—t aside to raise my family. I am now in a space where I’m like, ‘I’m back.’ You don’t know s—t about my career. Do you know I did standup?” Heather asked.

Gina answered, “No. That’s very brave.”

Heather shared more about how she put her career on the backburner for years.

“And it’s hard,” she told Gina. “And it’s not easy to get yourself together and be like, ‘I’m going to jump back in.’ I’m in the same classes with like 25-year-olds.”

Heather confessed she had doubts about jumping back into acting. “All of it’s terrifying. And then you have self-doubt. ‘Am I still talented? Can I still do this? Is there a place for me out there?’” she asked in her confessional interview.

Gina defended herself and explained that she’d never known Heather as an actress. “I’m not saying that you’re humorless, Heather. I support you in everything that you do. And I’m proud of you, my friend, for doing all these amazing things.” She added, “We just had a chuckle, and I really apologize. I really do.”

But Heather wasn’t ready to forgive and forget yet.

“So what you really want to do is surround yourself with people that emotionally support you. And I really thought Gina was that person. Wrong,” she said in her confessional.

Heather Dubrow and Gina Kirschenheiter share new details on their drama over Heather’s career

Heather addressed her pointed anger at Gina on The Real Housewives of Orange County After Show, explaining, “It is unsettling that no one would even care to look up anything I’ve ever done.”

But Gina also defended herself. “I don’t even doubt that Heather could do standup because I think Heather is very capable as a performative actress,” Gina said on the After Show. “She’s so sensitive about her career, and I understand that.”

Heather Dubrow shares a “fun” new update on her acting career

Heather had a big update to share with producers about where her acting career stands today.

“I have some new shows that I’m working on, that I’m also very excited about,” Heather revealed on the After Show. “I don’t mean to be cagey about it, but it’s like, there’s some really fun stuff I’m doing.”

She also told Shannon she signed with a new agent, which she hasn’t had “in quite some time,” prompting Shannon to reply, “Good for you!”

“So, I’m really, really excited about exploring all of that,” Heather continued. “And I’m doing a little singing, again. Which I’m excited about. Like there’s just a lot of fun, knock on wood, fun stuff.”

Heather shared that she’s just going with the flow at this point in her career.

“At this time in my life, it’s like, things happen. They won’t happen. I don’t know. It’ll be successful. It’ll fail. I don’t care,” she said. “My kids are healthy. They’re good. And I have things that I’m enjoying.”
