Listen up because Lala Kent is breaking down where she stands in the dating department.
The Untraditionally Lala podcaster and mother of two has her current status set at “single,” but that doesn’t mean it will stay that way forever. In a Sept. 26 interview with Entertainment Tonight, the Vanderpump Rules alum said it would take “a guy who just makes me feel so happy and safe and secure.”
Still, at this time in her busy life, she also doesn’t “need” anybody to make her feel whole. She said regarding her second daughter, Sosa, who was conceived via sperm donor, “I’ve created life by myself.”
“I like to say ‘never,’ and I should know at this stage in the game, I should never say never ’cuz I never thought I would be here, yet here we are,” she said. “So, I don’t want to say ‘never,’ but I have not met anybody who’s worth letting stay here past 7 a.m. — my kid wakes up at seven, you gotta go.”

On a more serious note, Lala reflected on ignoring “red flags” of past relationships. Said Lala, “I’m gonna know he’s the right one when everything he tells me, I don’t have a pit in my stomach … and he better be friggin’ hot.”

Lala and fellow VPR alum Tom Schwartz were recently rumored to be an item, though both have debunked the gossip.

During Lala’s Amazon Live stream on Sept. 30, she told her followers, “Some people won’t let the Lala and Tom Schwartz thing go, and I just don’t see it happening. He is one of my dearest friends, though. We’ve gotten very close over the past, I wanna say, year. He’s just a good dude.”
Lala didn’t give too much away, though she admitted Schwartz “seems very happy” as he might be “talking to someone” on the romantic front.
But that hasn’t stopped either one of them from joking around about the romance rumors concerning them. On Sept. 28, Lala shared a photo of her and Tom standing arm in arm, with the caption: “Soft launch. Like, so soft it’s not even real type soft.” Tom wished Lala a happy birthday only weeks earlier, calling her his “imaginary internet GF.”

In the July 1 episode of his Detox Retox with Tom Schwartz podcast, Tom said he had “no clue where that rumor originated.”
That same month, Scheana Shay chimed in on her Scheananigans with Scheana podcast, adding, “I can tell you this. If they’re secretly dating, they’re secretly dating from me because I have heard this only online. So as far as I know, there is no truth to this.”
