Although they didn’t get off on the best foot, Bozoma “Boz” Saint John and Kyle Richards have apparently made progress in building their friendship.
Boz shared the update on the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show, when a fan asked how her dynamic with Kyle has changed since their on-screen drama.
Boz Saint John on connecting with Kyle Richards: “I did my best”
“I always feel like there’s an opportunity to increase, you know, openness [and] vulnerability,” Boz said during the October 2 episode. “And I think for Kyle, she’s a slow burn. So, I worked very hard this season on making sure that she could open up. So, did I know everything? I don’t think so, but I did my best.”

Tensions between Boz and Kyle played out in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14, which also marked the former’s Bravo debut. Boz said she generally felt welcomed by her new castmates… with the exception of Kyle, whom she described as “cold.”
Boz Saint John defends calling Kyle Richards “cold”
“I think that Kyle was cold to me. I don’t take that back at all. She was,” Boz said on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show, before alluding to Kyle’s marital issues. “Now, why was she cold? We could talk about that. If she says she was cold because she’s going through her own situation and she didn’t want to open up to me as a stranger in the group, fine. Easy enough explanation. But then don’t get pissed because I said that you were cold. That’s the truth.”

As Boz indicated, Kyle completely disagreed with the assessment, insisting she made a genuine effort to connect with the Housewives newbie.
“It genuinely just hurt my feelings because I was having a completely different experience,” Kyle said on the RHOBH After Show. “It seemed a little strange to me, but maybe it does take me longer to open up. I guess I hadn’t opened up enough to her? She was expecting more? I’m not really sure.”

“She’s been great,” Kyle said about Boz before confirming they were regularly texting. “It’s great.”
