Nathan Gallagher from Below Deck Mediterranean is enjoying the good life as a new dad, and he and Gael Cameron have big plans for their baby. The megayacht bosun shared the first-time parents’ plans for their 3-month-old son, Kayden Cameron-Gallagher, on the Oct. 6 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
Prompted by host Andy Cohen, who asked where the former crewmates would raise their smiling little boy, the Irishman cheekily said, “F–k if I know, on a flight? On a flight around the world, I would say. We’re going to explore the world together with our new best friend, so we don’t know yet.”
Nathan Gallagher opens up about his reconciliation with Gael Cameron
Nathan and Gael’s relationship had fizzled after Season 9, after the pair made a go of it back on land. Only two episodes into Below Deck Med’s Season 10, and Nathan and the Australian yachtie — who is not a cast member in the current season — are in break mode since their Season 9 romance ended. The pair, however, announced a reconciliation in September 2024, then news of a baby on the way in April of this year.
“I guess you’re just going to have to watch this season to find out, but there was a lot of unresolved feelings, I would say, between me and Gael, and she stole my heart. So I just had to speak my mind again and get it back on,” Nathan teased about how fans will get to experience their reconciliation.

He cited having the “luck of the Irish” for reconnecting with Gael, despite Gael once stating on the Below Deck Mediterranean After Show that Nathan had “a lot of emotional maturing to do.”
Meanwhile, Nathan confessed on WWHL this week that he actually foresaw a long-term future with Gael after they first met on Season 9. “Yeah, I did,” he said, adding that there were certain factors to consider, such as living in close quarters and testing waters that were “a tad different” once taking the relationship back on land.
“So, I mean, we gave it a go the first time, and we definitely gave it a go the second time. This is it for sure, now,” he said.

Fans weren’t the only ones surprised by the baby news, and Captain Sandy Yawn and Aesha Scott were just some of the first to know, admitted Nathan. As for his close friend and Below Deck Med alum, Joe Bradley? “I don’t think I told him. He found out through the grapevine,” Nathan said.
