Where Lindsay Hubbard Stands With Cristina Gibson Now

Lindsay Hubbard is reflecting on her friendship with her old roommate Cristina Gibson. Cristina appeared on Summer House Season 1 as she was living in NYC with Lindsay, but things between them became strained. 

Lindsay took to Instagram on Oct. 6, where she filmed a video with West Wilson and the Broadcast Boys, Nelson Vergara and Lucas Brody, recapping her time on the past nine seasons of Summer House. One thing they touched on from Season 1? Her friendship with Cristina. 

When Lindsay admitted that she met fellow cast member Kyle Cooke through Cristina, Vergara stated during the video, “I don’t know who that sister is.” Lindsay quipped in response, “Me neither.”

As Brody noted in the Instagram video, during Season 1, Cristina had been “meddling” in Lindsay’s relationship with then-boyfriend Everett Weston and “questioning their pace” because Lindsay was going to move in with him at the end of the summer. As Lindsay clarified in the clip, she mainly wanted to move in with Everett because her living situation with Cristina was no longer working. 

She also noted that Cristina turned more into a roommate than a “best friend” as that summer progressed.

Cristina spoke with AOL in 2018, after Summer House Season 1, where she opened up how she got involved with the show.

“I knew I was doing it with the [Wirkus] twins and Kyle, and then Lindsay and Everett were a later-in-the-game add,” she said. “When I found out [Lindsay] was going to be in the house, too, I was like, ‘OK, cool, this will be fun.’ She’s my roommate and my friend and we’ll have this experience together.”

As viewers saw, Lindsay and Cristina clashed on everything from relationships to careers, and their friendship did not survive the summer. 

One memorable moment, as Brody noted in the video above, was when Lindsay launched Hubb House PR without an office: “She asked Cristina, ‘For one day, can I please have the apartment to work with my interns?’… She said, ‘No,’ but what did Lindsay do?”

With a smile, Lindsay declared, “Did it anyway!” 

Cristina is also a mom to her 4-year-old daughter, Madeline. Although she is so busy with her career, her Instagram account is filled with photos from her travels to places like the South of France, Cannes, and the Virgin Islands.

It’s safe to say that Cristina is living her “dream” life. The mom of one took to Instagram on April 6, where she posted a video filled with clips, taken from her travels. “MOVE ON,” she wrote over the video. “Be your own dream girl. Build a beautiful life. Raise your standards. Wait for someone worthy!”

“Don’t settle for less than you deserve,” she wrote in the caption of the post.

Lindsay Hubbard reveals how she met Kyle Cooke

As previously stated, Cristina played a role in Lindsay being introduced to her longtime friend Kyle. Lindsay opened up about this in the video posted to Instagram on Oct. 6.

“I met Kyle at his Hamptons house Memorial Day weekend 2014,” she said. “I was actually a guest of Cristina Gibson.”

Eight seasons later, Lindsay was able to introduce West into the cast. During the video, she opened up about how she met West and what made her want to introduce him into the rest of the Summer House crew.

“I met West at a bar, he’s just a very memorable person,” she explained. “Then a year later, we were casting and I was like, ‘I remember this guy.'”
