It’s been over a year since The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Angie Katsanevas and her family listed their Utah home for sale on the market, but is she any closer to hanging a “sold” sign?
In an exclusive interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish in September, Angie shared the latest about her stunning $4.5 million home. In September 2024, Angie and husband, Shawn Trujillo, hoped to trade the SLC mansion they purchased in 2020 for a ranch that could accommodate horses for their equestrian daughter, 14-year-old Elektra. “We still have not sold our house,” Angie said in our exclusive chat with her.
The goal remains the same, however, which was why she reduced the original, “aggressive” asking price.
Still, the family is satisfied where they are in the home. As Angie said, “We love our house and, you know, we’re kind of [at] the point to where we had a certain amount of time we would try and list it and see what happens. And we haven’t sold it yet, we’re still there, but we’ll just see. I think we’re kind of just going with the flow on this one.”
And what’s not to love about the spectacular abode? The 6,400-square-foot home with 365-degree views and tons of natural lighting is nothing short of a showstopper, as fans got to see when she invited BravoTV.com in for a tour.
Angie Katsanevas shares an update on her daughter, Elektra
Although their plans for a “one-level modern” ranch suitable for Elektra’s horse riding needs were once at the forefront, especially considering she spends multiple days a week at the stable, it seems the family is flexible. Angie told The Daily Dish, “You know, it would be a dream for my daughter. So, I say, ‘If you don’t have it with Mom and Dad… ‘ I know she’s gonna live on one.”
Elektra had a horse named Glitter this time last year, part of the show circuit in which horse and rider competed in different states. Now, the teen’s horse — presumably Glitter — was injured, Angie just revealed in the September 2025 interview.

“You have to be very patient and allow them to heal, so right now she’s gonna be training some what we call green ponies,” Angie continued in her exclusive with us. “So she’ll be working with ponies and training them for shows, which is her dream. She loves to do that. So while her horse is recovering, she has a new project, and that’s training these green ponies, which she’s thrilled about.”
Has there been interest in buying Angie Katsanevas’ home?

According to Bronwyn, Shawn called Todd before they listed the property and reportedly said, “‘I know you thought our house was so cool, do you want to come look at it?’”
Angie said she liked the idea of selling to someone (literally) close to home, because then she could visit at any time. Ultimately, a no-go for the interested buyers. “We don’t have enough property for all their dogs, so I think that was a little bit of a downfall for Bronwyn,” Angie said.
Speaking of families, Angie is set to appear on Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition.
