Search Intensifies for Pennsylvania Woman Who Vanished After Getting Threatening Phone Call – Crime Online

Pennsylvania police conducted a search on Friday for a woman who vanished under suspicious circumstances last week.

Kada Scott, 23, was last seen leaving her overnight shift at a nursing home on Saturday. Philadelphia Police Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore confirmed to WCAU that they are searching the Awbury Arboretum while investigating Scott’s disappearance, though they did not say what led them to that location.

Scott apparently left work early on Saturday, which was not typical for her. Her car was found in the nursing home’s parking lot.

Scott’s mother told WCAU that she left home with her car keys, iPad, iPhone, and iWatch. Her phone has been shut off, so cops cannot track her location.

Philadelphia Police Captain John Craig said that Scott told her family about someone harassing her over the phone shortly before she vanished. Police said they are unsure who the caller was, but they are investigating.

Scott’s phone and social media have been inactive since her disappearance. Craig said Scott does not have a history of disappearing, and her co-workers did not notice anything out of the ordinary before she vanished.

Scott was described as standing 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds. Anyone with information regarding this case should call Philadelphia police at 215-686-3353.
