Brittany Cartwright of The Valley may be back on the dating scene now that she and Brandon Hanson have called it quits.
That’s what she stated on her When Reality Hits podcast after one listener asked whether or not her once-rumored boyfriend paid for Brittany’s mommy makeover. It was an emphatic ‘no’ from Brittany, prompting the Kentucky mom to share her latest relationship status: “Nobody paid for my surgery but me, all me. I decided everything I wanted to do for me, and, little side note, I’m single.”
It was a huge reveal for the mom of one, who previously said that Brandon was still coming to terms with Brittany’s life in the public eye. As she explained about the breakup, “We actually did not last. We were very good friends before we started dating. It was kind of like a whirlwind relationship. It went into the public way sooner than we ever would have wanted it to. We still care a lot about each other. It ended amicably, but I just cannot do the long distance.”
Brittany claimed the three-hour distance between them didn’t contribute to the strength of the relationship, nor did Brandon’s “obligations” as a working father of three. Still, they gave it their best and “really cared about each other.”
“Hopefully, we can remain friends, but it’s just something I didn’t see that was going to be able to continue in the future,” Brittany continued. “So, your girl is single!”

Fans got dribs and drabs about Brittany and Brandon’s relationship since it started in the summer, though Brittany later revealed to TMZ on Sept. 9, “We’ve known each other for 15 years. I met him back in Kentucky. Long time ago.”
Kristen Doute added to the rumors in August, teasing that Brittany was dating a “really amazing” man. Scheana Shay also entered the chat, stating Brittany was “extremely happy” in her life. The couple later vacationed in Cabo, spurring pregnancy rumors (which Brittany later slammed).
Elsewhere, Brittany claimed she had a “new man” on her podcast, but she repeatedly stopped short of calling Brandon her boyfriend.
To TMZ, “We’re not technically boyfriend and girlfriend just yet. He’s a great person, great father, just all-around a good person. He’s making me happy. We’re just focused on having fun and doing our thing right now. I really like him.”

Since The Valley’s Season 2 conclusion — filmed before Jax announced his exit from the series — Brittany has been on a mission to get her “sparkle” back. This week, she revealed undergoing a customized mommy makeover, telling fans she “couldn’t be happier.”
“It’s not easy. I will say the first couple of days, the first three or four days were terrible,” Brittany revealed on her latest podcast episode. “I look at it as the pain is temporary, but the surgery is life-changing. So I 100% think it’s worth it. I would definitely do it again … I’m still in pain, not going to lie.”
