When chief stew Aesha Scott discovered the primary guest for the second charter of Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10 was a familiar face from her days on Below Deck Down Under, she was a bit weary.

Captain Sandy Yawn described Jack Freeman as a “prominent Sydney socialite,” and chef Josh Bingham immediately asked Aesha, “How is he?” Aesha carefully admitted, “A little bit specific.”

“Upon arrival, Jack would like the stews to unpack for him,” Aesha announced to her stews, Kizzi Kitchener and Victoria “V” SanJuan, in Episode 3.

The rest of the crew quickly learned more of Jack’s requests for the charter, including “water toys” and “wave runners.”

“For dinner, white party…[and a] truffle-focused menu,” Josh read off the preference sheet, and said with enthusiasm, “Let’s go!”

But in his confessional, Josh worried there were pitfalls to using the ingredient. “With truffles, you have to put them with stuff that really works with them, or they can taste kind of flat,” he admitted. He later added, “Truffles are a luxury ingredient, but when you actually think about the truffle, it is off the street. It’s from the ground. It’s from the dirt.”

Josh learned the guests also requested a six or eight-course tasting menu for dinner on the second night, and worried the lavish requests wouldn’t end there.

“For eight courses, every single dish is a lot of little things done well,” Josh explained with trepidation. “So, there’s a lot of work that’s needed for each dinner. Huge amounts.”

As Jack and his charter guests boarded Bravado in the Oct. 13 episode, Josh declared, “I’m scared already.”

Who is Below Deck Med primary guest Jack Freeman from Below Deck Down Under?

Jack first appeared on Below Deck Down Under Season 2, Episode 3.

In a flashback from his charter shown during Below Deck Med, producers showed Aesha describing how Jack requested “a piñata actually made of chocolate.” Jack had another unexpected ask, which deckhand Culver Bradbury carried out. “Jack said he would love if one of the deckhands could breathe in his ear,” Aesha said at the time.

During the Oct. 13 episode of Below Deck Med, Aesha caught everyone up on Jack now, reading off the preference sheet, “So Jack and his friends…have been traveling through Europe for the past six weeks.”

Why Below Deck Med charter guest Jack stunned Aesha Scott upon arrival

Although Aesha, Kizzi, and Victoria were aware that Jack would require his suitcases be unpacked, they were unprepared for the amount of luggage he brought on board Bravado in the Oct. 13 episode.

“I will warn you, I’ve brought a lot,” Jack told Aesha, who replied, “How many are you talking?” When Jack replied, “seven [suitcases],” Aesha just gaped at him open-mouthed.

“Having guests like these, they’re very specific with what they like,” Aesha said in her confessional interview. “So, I hope that Kizzy and V can keep up and deliver the standard which I really need to give them.”

The surprises didn’t end there. Jack also revealed he brought 40 pairs of shoes in one particularly heavy suitcase. When Kizzi and Victoria discovered all of the suitcases waiting to be unpacked, Kizzi exclaimed, “What the f—k?” as they both groaned.

“I’ve never seen this many clothes in my life,” Kizzi added.

Below Deck Med primary guest Jack Freeman makes an unusual food request

Although the “truffle-focused” dinner for primary Jack and his friends on night one was successful, Aesha warned her stews that “Jack is putting them away,” after she served him several drinks. Soon, it was only stew Kizzi waiting on Jack, and he had an unusual request.

“I really need a Sichuan chicken,” Jack told her in the Oct. 13 episode.

With chef Josh already in bed at the late hour, Kizzi asked if there was “any alternative,” but Jack insisted, “All I can think about is chicken.”

“This guy is paying a lot of money to be here, so I do need to make sure that he’s happy,” Kizzi admitted in her confessional. “But, I don’t even know what Sichuan chicken is.”

Kizzi called on deckhand Christian Trimino to look up how to make Sichuan chicken on his phone.

“I need soy sauce, salt, pepper and flour,” Christian listed, but Kizzi was nervous. “I honestly don’t want to use any of chef’s stuff and then him be like, ‘F—k I needed that,’” she replied.

As Christian and Kizzi searched the galley, producers showed Jack in his room still talking about Sichuan chicken.

“I honestly don’t even think he wants Sichuan chicken,” Kizzi argued in her confessional. “He wants to see me jump through hoops and do backflips. I love going above and beyond. I will do it.”

Kizzi and Christian asked bosun Nathan Gallagher how long it takes to cook chicken, but Nathan but a stop to their plans. “Yeah, I don’t want you cooking, bro,” Nathan told them. “You’ll give him food poisoning.”

Kizzi discovered that there was still chili from the crew lunch in the fridge, and decided to make a him late-night snack of “chili con carne.” She pointed out, “I I think he’s too drunk to even notice.”

When Kizzi finally brought the snack to Jack’s door, cameras captured him snoring asleep in bed, and Kizzi exclaimed, “Are you joking me?”

Don’t miss Aesha’s answer to speculation of a romantic past with Below Deck Down Under’s Captain Jason Chambers.
