Ashley Darby is revealing where she stands with Monique Samuels ahead of her return on The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 10.
“I adore her to pieces,” Ashley told The Daily Dish in an exclusive interview on Oct. 13. “It’s crazy because I never thought she would come back. Monique was always like, ‘That’s part of my past.’ And I think that’s similar to how I felt, too.”
Ashley went on to note that she and Monique now have a lot in common, as they are both divorced from their ex-husbands and raising their kids as single parents. “[It’s been great] to have her back and know that we are really going through this parenting journey together,” she added. “I just texted her yesterday, you know, about our kids, and the things we’re going through are so similar.”
“It’s nice to have her here with me again. And even just in my life,” Ashley continued. “She’s like my soul sister. It’s nice to have someone that’s like, just in the journey with you, you know?”

Ashley previously spoke with The Daily Dish at the RHOP Season 10 premiere on Sept. 30, where she admitted that she had a “psychic” feeling about Monique’s return. “I’ve always told her, ‘Girl, you are coming back,’ time and time again,” she said. “And she would always say, ‘No, that’s behind me now.’ And then she said, ‘Girl, you know what? You were right.'”
“And yeah, I’m a little psychic, I’ve always known it, and now everyone else knows it too,” she added.

Psychic feelings aside, Ashley admitted to The Daily Dish that she was so happy to have Monique back on RHOP. “It was so good to have Monique back,” she said. “You know, I never wanted her to leave in the first place.”

During RHOP Season 10, Episode 2, Ashley revealed that Stacey Rusch had allegedly been “trying to get with” Monique’s ex-husband, Chris Samuels. (Monique had been married to Chris for 10 years before their divorce in 2023.)

In a confessional in the episode, Ashley explained that a friend of hers had clued her in to Stacey’s apparent interest in Chris. “As we’re about to go downstairs, she goes, ‘Girl, you know, Stacey reached out to me to hook her up with Chris Samuels,'” Ashley recalled. “I said, ‘Did you?’ And she said, ‘I introduced them.’ That kinda shocked me.”
