Viewers were first introduced to charter guest Jack Freeman and his “specific” demands on Below Deck Down Under Season 2, and now, he’s stirring up trouble on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10.

Jack, more specifically, can be seen breaking a major safety rule in the above preview of Episode 4 (airing Monday, Oct. 20).

It all starts when he demands a night swim in the ocean, and deckhand Christian Trimino agrees — with a major condition: “Just the feet.”

“Hopefully I’m not making a mistake,” Christian tells the primary and his guests as they all head from the hot tub to the swim platform. From there, Jack stands on the platform as it bobs up and down in the waves of the ocean. He repeats to himself, “Dip your feet in the ocean,” and Christian reminds him again, “Just the feet.”

Although Jack calls on his guests to join him, they insist that they’re just there to watch his late night water dip.

“It’s actually quite wobbly,” he remarks as the swells grow greater and push the platform around. Christian then urges him to “sit down,” but it’s not long before Jack slips and falls all the way into the ocean.

Bosun Nathan Gallagher sees this happen on the monitors, and promptly runs out to the deck after exclaiming, “Oh f–k!”

The preview ends as Jack is flailing in the ocean, and Christian asks, “Jack?”

What led to Below Deck Med guest Jack Freeman falling in the ocean

The first warning sign that trouble was brewing in the Oct. 20 episode preview came as primary guest Jack stood on top of the hot tub, near the rail of Bravado, with a drink in his hand. After Jack declares, “I wanna go in the ocean,” another guest jokes they need to “hold his bloody ankle.”

Christian spots Jack jumping back into the hot tub from the ledge and warns him, “Careful, Jack, I don’t want to jump and get you. I don’t want to get wet.”

Jack decides to ask Christian why he’s not allowed to go in the ocean, and Christian replies it’s a safety issue and is “often because of the swell.”

But Jack is determined to go swimming, and tells Christian, “We just wanna dive into the ocean. I just want to feel the ocean.”

Christian does his best to dissuade the primary guest, pointing out the hot tub he’s in is “nicer.” But Jack answers, “No, it’s too hot. It’s very hot.” He continues, “I wanna feel the fish of the ocean. I wanna feel Nemo. I wanna just have one quick little dive, and then I’m ready for bed.”

“This guy is being so annoying. And the only way to shut him up is to give him whatever the f—k he wants,” Christian complains in his confessional interview.

Christian decides to negotiate with Jack. “What if you just put your feet [in the ocean]?” He asks, and Jack agrees and says, “I promise.” But, of course, Jack falls into the water.

Charter guest Jack Freeman’s unusual request on Below Deck Med

Demanding a dip in the ocean wasn’t the first time Jack gave a Below Deck Med crew member trouble late at night. During Episode 3, Jack make a surprising request of stew Kizzi Kitchener: Sichuan chicken. Despite the fact that chef Josh Bingham was already in bed, Kizzi did her best to accommodate Jack.

“This guy is paying a lot of money to be here, so I do need to make sure that he’s happy,” Kizzi said in her confessional. Later she argued, “I honestly don’t even think he wants Sichuan chicken. He wants to see me jump through hoops and do backflips. I love going above and beyond. I will do it.”

But Nathan stopped Kizzi and Christian from cooking up any chicken on their own, and argued they’d give Jack “food poisoning.” Kizzi settled for serving Jack “chili con carne” made of leftover crew chili, but when she brought the food to his room, Jack was already asleep.
