Ariana Biermann is moving out of her and Hudson McLeroy’s shared New York City apartment just days after they announced their breakup.
The Next Gen NYC cast member shared the news in an Oct. 16 Instagram video, telling her followers, “Today is moving day again. I’m moving into my own apartment. I want to bring you guys along the process.”
She went on to share that she’s using the same moving company that helped her and Hudson move out of their previous place in SoHo earlier this year. Now, however, she’s preparing to live alone.
“First-ever apartment in New York City [where] I’m the sole person on the lease,” Ariana continued. “I’m excited. Also, a very bittersweet thing. Obviously, there’s a lot we need to catch up on; that’s for a different day.”
From there, Ariana filmed a moving crew packing and taping boxes before working away in her vanity room and walk-in closet. “It’s all coming together,” she said, later adding that the feel of the empty apartment felt “surreal.”
Next, Ariana and her dogs were “excited” as they rode to her new, jaw-dropping 22nd-story apartment featuring spectacular views of Manhattan. She showed off said views by standing on her balcony against the lights of the city, telling the camera, “This is now my first night ever in my own apartment.”
The post was captioned, “onto the next chapter.”
Cast mate Riley Burruss jumped into the comment section, stating, “can’t wait for our new apt” with a heart-eyed emoji.
Why did Ariana Biermann and Hudson McLeroy break up?
When announcing her breakup from Hudson in an Oct. 14 Instagram Story, Ariana said, “Hudson and I have decided to go our separate ways. While these things are never easy, we both know it’s what’s best for us right now. We are so grateful for all the love and support you’ve shown us over the years. Sometimes life takes you in different directions, and that’s OK. Love you all.”

Hudson McLeroy’s response to his and Ariana Biermann’s split
One day after Ariana announced her and Hudson’s breakup, he shared his own Instagram Story to address the split:
“I feel like everyone deserves to hear both sides of our story,” he stated. “I still and always will love Ariana. She’s been there for me at times when I couldn’t be there for myself. I still have a lot of things I need to heal from and deal with on my own to become the person I truly want to be. I appreciate all of the love and support everyone is showing us through this difficult time.”

Next Gen NYC heavily featured the pair’s search for an apartment within their budget. After living out of hotels, they settled on what appeared to be the home of their dreams at a whopping $10,000 per month.
At the time, Hudson told producers, “Thank you, Lord, we have finally found a place. I could not live in a hotel for another day.”
Fast forward to June 2025, when they announced moving into their second apartment in SoHo — the one from where Ariana just moved out — once their lease ended.
Now, Ariana’s solo move comes four months later (not long after her recent hair makeover).
