Stacey Rusch has apparently had enough of her love life being the hot topic on The Real Housewives of Potomac, and so she’s spilling the tea on Gizelle Bryant’s rumored new romance.
During an outing with Jassi Rideaux on Season 10, Episode 3, Stacey debriefed her friend on how the cast, particularly Gizelle and Ashley Darby, were “not happy for” her when she told them she’d reconciled with ex-husband Thiemo Rusch — and had even “demanded” to see her divorce papers.
Stacey said she was most taken aback by Gizelle’s lack of support, given that she had also once gotten back together with ex-husband Jamal Bryant, as had previously been documented on RHOP Season 4.
“Um, speaking of Gizelle, word on the street…” Stacey began, before pulling out her phone and showing Jassi some sly photos of Gizelle on what appeared to be a romantic date. “I don’t know if you’re aware, but Gizelle has a new man.”

Stacey used Gizelle’s supposedly undercover new relationship to illustrate what she perceived to be a double standard within the group.
“It is beyond me that Gizelle calls me a liar and says that I’m a phony and a fake, when she’s the one faking it all along,” Stacey explained to a producer in a confessional. “Why are the standards with me so different than everybody else?”
As she concluded to Jassi, “So, while she’s worried about my man, we need to find out about her man.”

Stacey described Gizelle’s rumored “new man” as a “retired NFL player,” while Jassi noted that he is 50 years old. A camera shot of a phone screen revealed that they were googling Shawn Springs, who was a 13-year NFL cornerback for the New England Patriots and the Washington Commanders.
When Stacey asked if Jassi’s now-husband, Darius Harris (who currently plays for the New England Patriots) knows him, she replied, “I think that he probably knows of him.”
Gizelle Bryant addresses dating rumors
Word of Stacey’s big reveal has yet to make its way back to Gizelle, who has made no secret of her willingness to play the dating field amid her new empty nest era, now that her three daughters, Grace, Adore, and Angel have all left home.
The RHOP Season 10 trailer already teased Stacey bringing them to her attention, though. “Everybody knows that you have a boyfriend,” Stacey told her in one clip, while another moment shows Gizelle hugging Mauricio Umansky, the estranged husband of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Kyle Richards.
However, Gizelle denied anything romantic ever happened between her and Mauricio, during an October 2025 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

When a fan asked if she would ever go on a date with Mauricio, Gizelle replied, “I would not. Girl code,” before adding to host Andy Cohen. “He’s an amazingly beautiful man, but I would not because of Kyle.”
Following her stint on Bravo’s Love Hotel, Gizelle also previously revealed that the love connections she made on the show fizzled after filming wrapped. As the official Season 10 announcement revealed, Gizelle is now “embracing the single life with a few new prospects in the mix.”
As she further hinted herself in her new RHOP tagline, “When the nest is empty, it’s time for naked, grown, and sexy.”
