The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City‘s Lisa Barlow is blasting claims that she leaked Bronwyn Newport’s alleged past legal issues to the press.

Though Bronwyn stopped short of directly accusing her of being behind the media rumors involving “identity theft” and “fraud” during Season 6, Episode 7’s Below Deck Down Under charter, Heather Gay went a step further and blamed Lisa for being “the source of all the dirt” that has emerged about the cast over the years.
“This is the most offensive, hurtful thing Heather’s accused me of,” Lisa remarked in an exclusive interview at Bravo HQ. “I don’t even know what she means by it.”
Denying that she has “an arsenal” of intel on the other ladies, she added, “I can’t be the source of Bronwyn having criminal charges against her.”
“For Heather to be like, ‘You’re the source,’ and saying all this stuff when I’m like, ‘Heather, we’re in a good place. Like, we’ve worked out our issues…’ why are you creating more?” Lisa continued. “We’re public figures, and people dig up stuff on you. If you lie, people will find the truth.”

Heather confronting Lisa led to their explosive group dinner devolving into a shouting match. After vehemently denying the accusations against her, Lisa tearfully stormed off to call husband John Barlow for support, while also threatening to depart the cast trip early.
As Lisa further revealed, she had her reasons for eventually retreating from the intense drama.

“I was super tired, and I think there’s times when I wanna, like, sit there and fight things out because it’s my name, it’s my reputation, it’s my character, which they’re, like, always attacking,” Lisa elaborated in the exclusive chat.
“In this instance, like, I didn’t want to just sit at the table,” she continued. “I knew if I did, I was going to say things that might be truthful but not nice. And so, I think for me, I was like, you know what? It’s better to walk away. I called John. I literally wanted off the boat.”

Something else that raised alarm bells for the RHOSLC cast was the fact that Lisa went on the defense before she’d even been accused of anything. Initially, Bronywn had only said that she suspected “somebody in this group” was behind the leaks, before Lisa began professing her innocence. Shortly afterward, Mary Cosby was the first to ask if Bronwyn suspected Lisa, specifically.
“I’ve never done that to anybody here,” an “irritated” Lisa fired back. “And that bugs me. That’s, like, a trigger for me.”
When Heather later declared that Lisa allegedly had a whole history of leaking information to bloggers, she continued to defend herself.

“I’m not the source of anything,” she responded. “People tell me stuff, and I’m all of a sudden responsible? … Why am I responsible for what’s on the internet?”
Lisa also rebuffed Heather’s suggestion that she own up to secretly spreading gossip about her castmates.
“F–k that. I’m not gonna own it,” Lisa shot back. “I’m not the source of any f–king dirt. Don’t you ever put that one me ever again. And I’m not gonna admit something I didn’t f–king do!”
