It’s day one in her new apartment, and Next Gen NYC’s Gia Giudice is capturing every step of the process.
The eldest of Teresa Giudice’s four daughters from The Real Housewives of New Jersey is officially all moved into her new place in Jersey City, as seen in snaps and videos shared to her Instagram Stories on Nov. 4. There to help her were her stepdad Luis “Louie” Ruelas; her boyfriend Christian Carmichael; and, of course, her Housewife mom. Moreover, Gia’s pup, Bella, stayed close as movers helped lighten the workload.
“Bella’s loving it,” Gia wrote with a photo of the small dog before floor-to-ceiling windows that provided a wide-open view of the city. Later, Bella rested on a blanket as the sun went down, the “first of many sunsets.”
Gia recorded the movers after they assembled her white, L-shaped couch, offering a glimpse into the tall ceilings, white walls, and expansive windows. A look at professional organizers also gave fans a peek into a bedroom filled with clothes and equipped with a well-lit en-suite and walk-in closet. Later, Gia, Teresa, Louie, and Christian enjoyed burgers on the kitchen’s island counter — Gia’s first meal in the new home.
Elsewhere, Gia said her mother was “obsessed” with the cookware and storage she used to stock up the kitchen.
“Yes, I love the wooden spoons,” the Skinny Italian cookbook author said. “I mean, I’m a cook, so. I love the pots and pans. Yeah, amazing. Love, love, love.”
Gia Giudice gets emotional as she moves out of her family’s home
Gia’s apartment marks the 24-year-old’s official move out of the family’s Montville, New Jersey, home, where the Bravoleb lived with her mom and stepdad, plus younger sisters Gabriella Giudice, Milania Giudice, and Audriana Giudice.

On her last day home, she told followers, “Moving is obviously really exciting but super scary. I have always just loved being at home with my family and just being here with everybody. But, this move is definitely necessary, just for me, my life, and my career, and I’m so excited for these next steps.”
The influencer and Casual Chaos podcaster has regularly discussed her desire to be closer to New York City for work, where her fellow Next Gen NYC’ers predominantly live. In the Nov. 4 Instagram video, she said her appearance on Special Forces helped her realize she was “totally OK” living independently.
Teresa Giudice’s reaction to Gia’s move and new apartment
Teresa, like most mothers, is sad to see her daughter leave the nest, but she is also there to celebrate the Rutgers University grad’s newfound independence. As she revealed on the Oct. 7 episode of Sherri, Teresa had gone straight from living at home to moving in with ex-husband, Joe Giudice.

“I want my kids to experience what I didn’t experience, so I’m happy for her,” Teresa said.
