Shep Rose is reflecting on his friendships with Craig Conover, Whitney Sudler-Smith, and Austen Kroll, ahead of the Southern Charm Season 11 premiere. The Charleston resident has had his ups and downs with his friends over the years, but he just has one major question about their friendship today: “Who is the quiet one?!”
Shep took to Instagram on Nov. 2, where he posted a photo of his face, along with Craig, Whitney, and Austen’s, superimposed over The Beatles’ faces. In the hilarious photo, the men can be seen sporting the classic Beatles’ haircuts, while Shep took to the caption of the post, where he contemplated their roles in the group. “This was simply too funny and brilliant not to hard post,” he wrote in the caption. “The only question is: Who is the quiet one?”
He continued, remarking on each of his friends taste in music. “I know [Whitney] will especially love this. We talk about our reverence for The Beatles with great vigor,” he noted. “I’m positive [Austen] feels similarly considering his classic rock roots. Now [Craig]? I’m not [100 percent] sure. His musical tastes are a bit different/modern. You should see us with the aux cord. It’s a battle.”
Austen took to the comments of the post, where he admitted that he likes this look for himself. “My God I’m handsome,” he wrote.
“Time to turn to the bowl cut,” Shep replied.
Whitney Sudler-Smith shares an update on his friendship with Shep Rose
Music isn’t the only thing that Whitney and Shep have in common. Whitney spoke with Deadline in October where he revealed that he has a “new digital series” in the works with Shep, which is an “adventure show” that was a cross between Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations and The Trip.
“We’re really excited about it,” he admitted.Â

In September, Shep celebrated his birthday with a trip to London, where he hung out with Whitney. Whitney took to his Instagram Story on Sept. 30, where he posted a photo of him and Shep dressed in suits, standing outside of an exclusive club.
“Wondrous lunch at venerable [White’s],” Whitney wrote in the caption of the post.

Shep also spent some of September in New York with Austen and Craig. The trio reunited in NYC to celebrate Shep’s birthday, before taking a trip to Farmingdale, New York to attend the Ryder Cup.

But not everything is smooth sailing for Shep, Austen, and Craig during Southern Charm Season 11. According to an announcement for the new season, Shep “continues to be caught between Craig and Austen’s crossfire, and one of his most valuable friendships is at risk when he gets embroiled in a nasty rumor.”
