Kyle Richards Makes Shocking Statement on Her Sexuality: VIDEO

Kyle Richards has been famously tight-lipped about her love life since announcing her split from Mauricio Umansky in 2023 — but that’s all about to change on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 15.

The RHOBH Season 15 trailer, which dropped on Nov. 4, kicked off with castmate Bozoma Saint John explaining to Kyle, “Look, I’m a girls’ girl, but in order to be friends, I want to know the information so that I can also be helpful.”

Though it’s unclear what she’s referring to, Kyle responded, “Well, why don’t you ask what you really want to ask?” before joking, “I could go Brad; I could go Angelina.”

Indeed, it appears that Kyle is poised to be much more forthcoming about her romantic life, and Boz might even play the role of matchmaker for her. While taking notes on her dating preferences on a large whiteboard in a separate moment from the Season 15 sneak peek, Boz explained, “I have to know what you want.”

As Kyle emphatically responded, “Someone who likes sex!”

Erika Jayne, meanwhile, was also in Kyle’s corner, telling her in another clip, “You need to get out there and do whatever makes you happy.”

Elsewhere in the RHOBH trailer, Kyle and Mauricio still appear to be navigating their ongoing separation.

“I’m trying,” she tells her estranged husband, who wipes away a tear streaming down her face.

The official Season 15 announcement teased even more of what to expect from Kyle’s love life.

“While she helps plan her daughter Alexia’s highly anticipated nuptials, she struggles with making the ultimate decision – whether to officially end her marriage or salvage the relationship,” the release read. “All the while, Kyle is moving forward, leaving behind the rumors and speculation surrounding her personal life over the past few years.”

Though you’ll have to tune in to RHOBH for more details, Kyle previously shared on the Season 14 reunion that she “questioned [her] sexuality,” after forming a close bond with musician Morgan Wade.

“When the chatter first started happening, before the music video and all that, that would never have crossed my mind,” Kyle explained to host Andy Cohen, at the time. “I have a very specific type. And I started thinking . . . Is this a crush? I don’t know.”

Since then, Kyle has continued to support Morgan and her career, seeming to signal that they’re still tight today.

Meanwhile, Kyle and Mauricio are still not divorced but have maintained a close relationship as they co-parent their daughters, Farrah, Sophia, Alexia, and Portia.

Since they separated after 27 years of marriage two years ago, the estranged couple has shared positive updates about where their relationship stands today. They’ve also been open about their regular reunions for holidays, family celebrations, and even the occasional night out on the town.

The estranged couple sat side by side and laughed together during Alexia’s wedding to Jake Zingerman in September 2025, for example.

“I’m really proud of how we are navigating through this separation,” Kyle shared during a July 2025 Amazon Live stream. “We’re great friends, and we love our daughters, and we built a beautiful family, and it’s nice to know that even though we’re separated, we can keep it that way.”
