Angie Katsanevas had “no idea” that she would end up so seasick during The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 6’s crossover charter with the Below Deck Down Under Season 4 crew. However, during her first night on board (as seen on RHOSLC Season 6, Episode 7), the RHOSLC cast member got visited by Katina Captain Jason Chambers who made everything that much better.

Angie opened up about this visit during a recent trip to BravoHQ, as seen in the video above. “I threw up like, 25 times that day,” she admitted. “It totally took me away from the first day of the trip.”
The seasickness was so bad that Angie had to “stay laying like a corpse” to prevent her from throwing up. But the crew, including Captain Jason, was more than helpful with this. “Captain Jason was coming in, bringing me soup, bringing me tea, bringing me ginger,” she explained.Â
“He tried everything but nothing was making me better, except his visits,” she noted. “I mean, I really felt like I was in a five star hospital. It was like, you know, the good doctor was in the house. He was so kind. I laughed because I had my eyes closed and I could not have felt less attractive, laying there in my big boat pajamas and smelling like I’d been throwing up for 24 hours.”
Things really ramped up for Angie when Jason visited her at nighttime wearing his black uniform. During this visit, Jason tucked her in with ice packs and checked on her sickness, which was very helpful to the salon owner.

“I thought, ‘Did I die and go to heaven?’ Like, ‘Is this an icon? What am I looking at? What’s happening?'” she recalled. “But, you know, his visits definitely made me feel better He was just very sweet, and kind and compassionate.”

Angie was also grateful for her close friend and charter roommate, Mary Cosby, who stayed by her side throughout her sickness. She even ate dinner with Angie in their room, so she wouldn’t be alone.
“It was so kind of Mary to stay by my side through that,” Angie admitted. “Just knowing someone was there, it made me feel like I was also enjoying the meal. I could hear the crunching of the chip she was eating, and she was telling me about the wine and every little bite. Every little morsel, she was just savoring it and appreciating the meal so much that she even ordered a second meal.”

“I loved being, loved being with Angie,” Mary noted during a visit to Bravo HQ. “I couldn’t have chose a better place to eat dinner.”
