Stacey Rusch has held many titles throughout her career. She’s been a news reporter, TV host, and even a private yoga instructor. But if you ask her what “the most important job of [her] life” has been, she’ll tell you it’s “being a mom.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member shared more insight into her family life during a recent interview with The Daily Dish, revealing what her 9-year-old daughter, Arabella, was up to these days.
“She’s fantastic,” Stacey said about her only child. “She’s still winning gold medals. She’s a swimmer — very accomplished.”

The Housewife regularly takes to social media to share updates on her little girl, posting photos of their family getaways, trips to the salon, and Arabella’s aforementioned athletic wins.
“Arabella! Congratulations on another outstanding swim season and winning 3 golds!!!” Stacey captioned a July 2024 Instagram. “Your success in doing what your little heart loves is my happiness. We are so very proud of you, mein Schatz!”

Stacey Rusch reflects on how motherhood changed her
Stacey spoke about her parenting journey in the May cover story of Potomac Lifestyle magazine, explaining how motherhood helped her live more in the moment.
“In the early days of my career as a yoga teacher, I focused on the principle of being fully present as part of your practice. I don’t think I really understood what being fully present meant until I became a mother,” she said. “My daughter, Arabella, allows me to be present in a way that I have never felt before, and I’m so grateful for that…
“When I’m home with Bella, our special moments are often found in the most mundane things,” she continued. “For example, in the kitchen this morning, we were having an animated conversation in German and Spanish, because Bella’s dad is German and her au pair speaks Spanish, and we were joking around and laughing about different things. To me, those moments are so special because they’re unique to my family and my home and our relationship.”

Stacey shares Arabella with her ex-husband, Thiemo Rusch. The former spouses got married in 2007 and officially divorced in late 2024. However, the romance wasn’t quite over. During the RHOP Season 10 premiere, Stacey confirmed she and her ex-hubby had reconciled just months after their split was finalized.
“We were notified that we were, in fact, officially divorced while we were on vacation,” Stacey recalled. “We just looked at each other. I think we both knew it wasn’t the end of us. We had to give each other another try.”

So, are Stacey and Thiemo still together? The Potomac mom told The Daily Dish that fans would get to see their “ups and downs” throughout Season 10.
“It’s definitely a blessing, but it is not easy,” she said about the relationship. “It’ll be really interesting to see our journey.”
