Mercedes Javid doesn’t have “any regret or doubt” amid her divorce from Tommy Feight. The Shahs of Sunset alum announced in October that she and Tommy would be divorcing after seven years of marriage and one child: 6-year-old son, Shams. Now she is focusing on her future, which involves her real estate career and a new home for her and Shams.
The real estate agent appeared on Jeff Lewis’ SiriusXM radio show, Jeff Lewis Live, on Nov. 7, where she opened up about her divorce from Tommy. Jeff admitted that a mutual friend told him that Mercedes has appeared “lighter” since the separation, which she agreed with.
“I feel like this is — you know, I love Tommy,” she said. “I might still be in love with Tommy. He’s always family. I’m always going to make sure he’s OK. I just think that this is something that’s necessary and positive for everybody.”
“I don’t have any regret or doubt,” she added of her divorce.

She further confirmed that both she and Tommy moved out of their family home. “It’s very humbling to move from a place where your child was six months old until he’s six-and-a-half years old,” she admitted. But, she said she’s “very happy” in her new place, as is Shams.
“He’s just like, very focused on what’s happening in his life, and he loves the new place,” she noted. “The way we filled it up and made it special before he saw it. And by we, I mean me.”

“I’m just really, really hopeful about things being led by love,” she said. “And I strongly believe this can be a really positive thing. And this could be the most civilized, loving separation. And I think that we can just morph into something healthy. I don’t think this needs to be that people go apart in two different directions. That’s how I feel. And you know what? People shouldn’t have to tell you how to feel or what you want.”
