Although Captain Jason Chambers declared on his social media, “What happens onboard stays onboard, NO RECEIPTS,” after the The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 6’s crossover charter with the Below Deck Down Under Season 4 crew—one person isn’t following that rule. Whitney Rose spilled new unseen details about what happened after the ‘Wives left Katina, and it involved a major cosmetic change to the yacht.

“Well, they had to replace the carpet in Heather [Gay] and I’s room,” she admitted during an exclusive Bravo HQ interview, and added it was partly due to “the fake blood from Zombie Night.”

She explained, “Everyone got ready in our room—in Heather and I’s room—so it got destroyed.”

During RHOSLC Episode 8, producers showed Heather using her “blood spray” as she dressed up for the yacht dinner, and Bronwyn Newport scolding her, “Don’t do that on the carpet!” But it was too late—and cameras captured stains of blood dotting the floor.

Whitney also revealed another unseen detail from the trip: the carpet was additionally ruined by actual blood. “Heather stubbed her toe, so there was real blood,” she shared. “You couldn’t tell what was what. And then the freaking body paint.”

Whitney Rose reveals “hysterical” moment from BDDU charter

Bloody carpets weren’t the only mess left behind on Katina when the ‘Wives departed. Whitney shared another way Heather caused a problem for the BBDU Season 4 crew—and revealed viewers likely didn’t even see it.

“This is so shady, and Heather’s going to kill me, but just notice when we arrive and leave, when she hugs them in their white shirts,” Whitney quipped in her exclusive Bravo HQ interview. “The amount of spray tan and makeup left behind on the crew was hysterical to me.”

Producers pointed out to Whitney that it’s not the first time self-tanner ruined a Below Deck franchise trip. During a Season 3 Below Deck Sailing Yacht charter, a guest stained a white couch with self-tanner—and Daisy Kelliher and the crew had trouble removing the stains. Captain Glenn Shephard was forced to have a difficult conversation with the primary.

“When a primary charters a boat, they’re responsible for any significant damage done to the boat,” Captain Glenn said in an interview during the episode. “Having that conversation before they leave, it’s never fun. It’s always a little bit awkward, but you have to do it.”

Lisa Barlow and the RHOSLC ‘Wives share their opinions of the BDDU crew post-charter

Although Whitney revealed Captain Jason had to call out the ‘Wives on the ruined carpet, he still left a very favorable impression. Lisa Barlow shared on her Oct. 28 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that she “loved Captain Jason.”

“He works really hard,” she added. “I didn’t expect him to work so hard. He was busy, breaking a sweat. He does a really good job.”

Angie Katsanevas also sang Captain Jason’s praises for how he came to her aid not once, but twice, during her various injuries on board Katina. She shared that he tended to her when she was stuck in bed with severe seasickness.

“Captain Jason was coming in and bringing me soup, bringing me tea, bringing me ginger,” Angie admitted during a separate Bravo HQ interview. “He tried everything and nothing was making me feel better except his visits. I really felt like I was in a five-star hospital. It was like the good doctor was in the house. He was so kind.”

Angie added, “So, five-star review for my Below Deck experience, and for their team.”
