Much like her good friend Kyle Richards, Morgan Wade is gearing up for a major career change.
The country music artist shared the update in a November 6 Instagram post, in which she expressed gratitude for all the love and support she’s received over the last few years.
Morgan Wade plans to pursue non-music-related projects in 2026
“Hey, y’all. I just want to take a minute to talk about a couple of things,” she began. “One, thank you. It’s been about almost 500 shows in the last, I guess, technically, three and a half years. Amazing… I have been to a lot of places that this small-town girl never thought she would get to go to. I’ve done a lot of things, met a lot of people, and I couldn’t have done literally any of that without you guys buying tickets, listening to my songs. I’m forever grateful for that, so I just really wanna say thank you.”

Morgan, who made her Bravo debut in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13, told fans that 2026 would mark a big shift in her career, as she planned “to take a little break from touring and work on some new things.”
“There’s a lot of things that I’m working on outside the music world,” she continued. “There’s a lot of things that I haven’t had time to do, and I’m gonna go do that, and take a bit of a vacation, and just experience some life.”
Morgan Wade to close out the year with a holiday tour
Morgan didn’t provide any more details about her non-music-related projects, only that she anticipated 2026 to look “a little different” than the past few years. And while she was seemingly eager for the change, Morgan emphasized that nothing was set in stone.
“I say that now, and then who knows,” she said. “I appreciate each and every one of you. I’m gonna do a few more shows. See you there.”
The caption featured Morgan’s Home for the Holiday tour schedule, which includes stops in Lynchburg, Virginia; Winston-Salem, North Carolina; and Bristol, Tennessee. You can learn more about the shows at the singer-songwriter’s website.
Kyle Richards praises Morgan Wade’s latest album: “So great”
Morgan shared the career update about three months after releasing her fifth studio album, The Party is Over (Recovered). Kyle gushed over the record in her August 7 Amazon Live stream, revealing that “Hardwood Floor” was her favorite track.
“It’s so beautiful,” Kyle said about the piano-driven cut. “I mean, the album is so great. There’s like, a song for every mood… I was listening to it running the other day, and it was ‘Candy from Strangers’ and ‘Party Is Over.’ Those are fun. I love singing along to those. And [they] made me want to run faster.”
Kyle befriended Morgan several years ago after she first heard her music during a road trip. She shared their first face-to-face encounter in a February 2022 Instagram, in which she joked about stalking the singer before they finally met up for lunch.
Kyle Richards sheds light on her friendship with Morgan Wade
Kyle opened up about the “unlikely” friendship in RHOBH Season 13, Episode 8, explaining how Morgan was different from her other besties.
“Morgan is 100 percent herself — no excuses, no apologies,” she said. “And there was something very freeing about that to me. I’m someone who is always so worried about everything being so together and perfect that I honestly was just really taken by that.”
